Strap release Button
I like these, well made. but unlike my other trekking poles (and I have done 2000km on trekking poles), the top of the handle has a black, release button. therefore it is easy to not see, and unknowingly press this. My straps dropped off, but not lost...I could simply not figure out how to reinsert. But now needed the clip. The Company responded right away instructed me, and sent me another clip. SO, a warning about this, or something would be helpful.recommend these..

Great trekking poles for the price
Great trekking poles for the price. I have taken these on over a dozen backpacking trips and everything is still holding up strong. The only thing that is holding back a 5 star review is that the handles have a button on the top that releases the strap holding it to your wrist. Sometimes I like to use my thumbs on the top of the poles and it's inevitable that you are going to push the button that release the straps (which is basically the whole top of the handle), possibly losing parts of strap locking mechanism/plastic in the process.Maybe I'm using them wrong, but I'd really like to be able to put my thumbs on the top sometimes.

Excellent for people with balancing problems.
Everything fine except the wrist bands fall out and no replacements are available in the accessories section of the web page. I wrote to ask is they are available. No answer.

They are OK for beginner
The problem I'm having is the wrist bands don't stay at the adjusted length, I have to keep tightening the straps for the right fit, but they keep loosening up inside the clip. They won't stay where they should and keep slipping. Once they slip out the wrist glove doesnt let me hold the handle in the right spot. If they had a better system for that, these would be perfect.

Great Value and Easy Adjustment
These poles are a great value. Very light weight and easy to adjust height. Once you get used to the feel of having wrist straps, you hardly notice them. I'm a beginner so it was a little intimidating at first, but it's pretty easy to find your stride with these. Liked having the assorted feet for different terrain too. Only thing I wished they had was an instruction sheet for use but there are lots of good YouTube videos so it was ok.

Not durable
I compete in adventure races and needed a lighter pole with quick clips for adjusting pole length. These looked great and were a decent weight for the 10hour VT winter race. The clips held very well for the whole race. So length was not an issue. On both the backcountry ski and snow shoe navigation sections of the race that occur both on trail and unbroken areas the poles started off great. Then the basket on the bottom cycled and broke free. For the last 5 hours of the race I was left with a "depth probe" instead of a pole. The snow was deep enough in the back country that it made the broken pole obsolete. I am counting on these as trekking poles for a 24 hour adventure race in CA this summer. Hopefully they do well in that climate.

Directions, please...
It is okay, only because I did not receive directions with the product. I used the sticks incorrectly thus wasting a portion of the rubber feet. However, I am still looking forward to my Nordic sticks. Sticks which I ordered were Expedition, and you have that I ordered Aerostride. I also looked up the product on line to see if a digital manual was available, and there are none on Pacemakerstix.com.

Good poles for the Average Joe
These are nice Nordic Poles. They did not come with the proper slanted feet, so I to purchase some. The extra pair of round feet could be used instead of slanted. The wrist cups hold pretty well and the hold my weight well. Have not tested them for heavy use or weight dependent climbing. Overall, good poles for Nordic Walking around town and for exercise.
