BLACKSTRAP Hood Balaclava Face Mask, Dual Layer Cold Weather Headwear for Men and Women

For is great. Is comfortable to wear. The mask does get a bit wet after breathing through it but as expected for any balaclava without ventilation. It keeps me warm all day in negative Fahrenheit weather.

EDIT: Year two of using these and I’m still in love with them. I have 3 different ones now. They’ve held up so well to many ski trips and they keep my sensitive ears warm and protected. I just wash them on cold and hang dry them to ensure they stay in good shape.First time using a blackstrap balaclava and I absolutely love it. The material feels so high quality and nice. It fits really nicely on my head (I wear a size large ski helmet.) I love how easily you can pull the mouth piece up and down, it’s great for Covid too as the mouth part has a double layer. The mouth part has a meshy type layer on the inside which really helps keep it from sticking to your face when it gets all moist from your breath. It kept the cold wind off my face really nicely. Great for day and evening skiing. If I was gonna go night skiing on a really cold night I might get the thicker version of this for extra warmth. This regular thickness one still kept me warm too tho. I’m definitely going to eventually buy a couple of these in different colors. Really worth the price and I love all the awesome colors and patterns.

I recently wore this Balaclava while skiing in driving snow and wind on a cold day in Colorado. My face was warm and dry! This fit nicely under my helmet and provided coverage on hard to cover areas like the gap between my helmet and goggles on my forehead and the sides of my face below my goggles and above where a traditional gator would sit. The balaclava washed easily afterwards.

Purchased for my son to use while snowboarding. Works as intended. And holds up well (this is the second color option he has)

It's a good product for winter activities like skiing. I love the color and the material is a good quality. I purchased it for winter motorcycle trips but noticed that it creates uncomfortable pressure points when under a helmet

Wanted a thin, light, smooth layer under my snow sports helmet to add a bit more warmth on very cold days. Does not put pressure on my ears. It even makes my helmet more comfortable where it covers my ears. Thin enough to not impede hearing. The seams on front sides that connect the face part to head part do not irritate. It washes nicely and dries fast, and seems like it will hold up for many years. I liked that this came in many patterns so I could have lots of choices.

Keeps my neck, ears, forehead and face warm when I'm skiing. It fits perfectly under my helmet. I don't even have to think about it. Love it! The color options are so fun too.

This balaclava kept my face and neck warm while snowboarding in cold temps on the East coast. I found it very breathable and lightweight without compromising warmth. Very easy to wash as well!

Since I'm spending much more time outdoors, it was really necessary to get a balaclava. My biggest problem was that all the balaclavas that had mouth and nose coverings (where I get cold primarily) were really ugly.It goes without saying that this Blackstrap Balaclava has a bold and beautiful print with my favourite colour, blue!I was a little worried that this would be too thin, but the material is fantastic at keeping you warm. It’s super comfortable and not too tight or thick, but still keeps the cold out. As a glasses wearer the only issue is glasses fog, but that’s not really the balaclava’s fault. I was glad I spent the extra money for a reputable brand and good looking design!

These balaclavas are made of swimsuit material. I can't believe some people were recommending them for winter. There is zero insulation elements in them, and if you don't use a neck-warmer, you will get cold in it very soon. Having "BS" written on your face is another disadvantage - couldn't they come up with a better label?Other than that, the quality and styles are nice. I am satisfied and will wear it with a neck warmer underneath.I got it for $30 which was acceptable for this balaclava. However, most of them are sold for over $50 on amazon, and they are not worth these money.

Fit well for someone with a large head, on a -29C day was all I needed, kept my head, face and neck warm.
