Excellent product and very consistent

I've been buying Purelife brand coffee for therapeutic enemas for years now. I know it works. "How" you may ask? Because you can hear your liver gurgle and purge which is exactly the desired effect of therapeutic coffee enemas. Purelife makes several roasts. Keep in mind the light roast is great, but it will techincally have more caffeine in it because it is light roast and this can keep you awake at night. Do these in the AM if at all possible.

I have now purchased this product 3 times and I love it! It’s gentle but definitely cleans you out. I tried another one and didn’t like it near as much so I’m back to this one. My dr. said I’ve got some crazy healthy liver levels and I think it’s all due to this and herbs I take from Organic India specifically for liver and kidney.

It's my first time doing enemas and this is the first coffee I've tried so far. I'm not sure what to look for on this kinda thing but to me it seems to be a good coffee.

Smells wonderful and brews nicely.

One star because this is probably not what you're looking for unless you've been specifically directed to use BLACK coffee. (Not sure why anyone would -- though I'm not a health care professional.) Rest assured, if dark roast is your thing, PureLife is a great product. If you're looking for GREEN coffee for superior detoxing, go for the silver bag, "Ultra Light Gold."

I use the product just for general health and cleanse due to bowel disorders

I have used this product for a while now, but the last package has consistently made my blood pressure rise during the enema & continue to climb for a while after the treatment. Up till now, it has never been over 155/97, but yesterday it hit 187/114! That threw me into a panic attack, and I was too afraid to check my blood pressure again. Fortunately I had some clonidine and Lorazapam, and was able to get it down in an hour. However, my heart ached from being so tired. Had I not had the clonidine or not been able to get it down, I would had had to get to the ER quickly to avoid a stroke or heart attack. This was very scary for me and my husband. I had even reduced the amount of coffee in this batch so it would not be so strong. I have done coffee enemas for about 10 years, and I have never had a problem with my blood pressure from it. But because this was such a terrifying situation, I have decided to never do coffee enemas again. Panic attacks are so awful. Because of the stress on my body and the amount of medication I had to take to get this under control, I have just laid around all day today, feeling totally washed out & still having intermittent pain in my chest. It has now subsided, thankfully. Unfortunately I have one whole unopened package of the coffee that I am unable to use, and it has passed the window of return by 22 days. I really would like to return the product and get my money back. There should be a warning that this coffee contains so much caffeine that it should be used with caution. I don't know if the product has changed, but it only did this on my last package.
