The Mummy's Gold (Sir Charlie Stinky Socks) Paperback – May 1, 2016

Sir Charlie Stinky Socks is a terrific series of books for young children. The fold out pages make them wildly different than most children's books. My grandson was so impressed by Sir Charlie Stinky Socks that he dressed up like him for Halloween - there is no greater compliment than that!

If you have read the other books you'll love this story. If you've never heard of the series, buy them all! These books are clever, cute, intriguing and tell lovely stories. This one is a perfect story that you're never too old for an adventure and never too proud to apologize!

I bought this book at another bookstore when my son was 3 years old. He still loves this story at 4 and asks more questions about what things are in the story. It's just the right amount of scary for him. He is really into adventures, and this really keeps his attention. He much prefers this book to first Sir Charlie Stinky Socks (and the Really Big Adventure), I think because this book has riddles to solve and a mummy instead of a whiny princess (why?!). Sir Charlie and the other characters are "nice guys", and I like that even the villain has a motivation for his actions instead of pitting good versus evil.I would prefer if the books didn't have the big flaps, but they're tolerable.

Great story. Children love it

I have been buying from the Sir Charlie Stinky Socks book collection since my daughter was 5. She enjoyed me reading them at bedtime, anticipating what was going to happen next. She is now nearly 7 and enjoys reading the stories with or to me, which is a joy. Great book series, with amazing illustrations, rhythm and rhyme, flaps and interactive stories. Thank you for the experience!!

Absolutely love Sir Charlie Stinky Socks! The Mummy's Gold is our favorite so far. Original stories, great vocabulary, beautifully illustrated, large flaps that keep on flapping (i.e. a tall, tall, tower with a pointy roof, you get the idea!) and turning pages.Never get bored of reading these stories over and over.

Read this book with the kids so many times. They love it. The big flaps are hit with the youngest.Big colourful pictures and easy to follow storyline
