Easy to install and works great

I ordered this because my new Aquasource toilet started running after only six months. The flapper was easy to install but it did not stop the running because upon further inspection I found a rubber band that had gotten stuck on to the valve seal (left in tank by installer)and that is why water kept leaking out. After cleaning the partially dissolved and sticky rubber band off of the flapper seal, it worked great! I am still glad I got the new flapper because the one that came with this toilet was a hard plastic material and would not stay open to flush the toilet unless I held down the handle the entire time. Very happy with the toilet now!

Good quality

Attached picture is of one of these flappers after less than 6 months (I've removed the chain). As you can see the upper part of the bulb has collapsed leaving me unable to actually flush the toilet. It has also started to disintegrate- bits were literally coming off as I was removing it. You will get an advance warning of its failure as it will start to leak shortly beforehand. I maintain three toilets in our office and luckily the two pack of blue ones (you'll see them on here) arrived just a few days ago. I used one of the blue ones to repair another toilet and just now I used the other one to repair this toilet. Now I have to order another two pack of the blue ones. They are watching the budget pretty closely around here and I will need to explain why I have purchased 6 toilet flappers for 3 toilets in less than 6 months. I am using the no-name small toilet tabs in our tanks so maybe those contributed to this flapper's demise. If those tabs cause the blue ones to fail I will note that in my review for that product.

These work really well with our toilet. No leaks. It's very easy on the hands when flushing now compared to our previous flapper that somehow made flushing very difficult.
