It works pretty much as advertised so long as you're willing to deal with more noise. Which if you're using the Steamdeck as a docked machine shouldn't be an issue. I recommend using this along with Decky loader and the Fantatstic Decky plugin to override the stock fan curve to your for best results. I have not used it for long enough to discharge the battery but I see no reason to doubt the official battery life specification.Unexpected Pros:Does not interfere with stock fan operation in a detectable manner (it flows through just fine)The kickstand it adds to the steam deck is a welcome addition and makes this more useful.Unexpected cons:This isn't a big deal to me but it's something to pay attention to if you decide to take the device on and off frequently. It's actually extremely easy to install incorrectly and not have any side effects other than it being difficult to remove. There are protusions in the top of the device that key into the fan slits at the top of the steamdeck. If you don't pay attention to this to get them lined up right. You'll get the device on with relatively little problems ( and no noticeable decrease in fan performance), but you'll find much more difficult than expected to get off because it grips the steamdeck harder than it should. Depending on the tolerances ( between the SD and the attachment). This could also leave marks on the bottom of your steamdeck.

En mis pruebas con juegos AAA funciona excelente. Sin este extractor la APU de AMD ronda los 90 grados, pero al momento de colocarlo y activarlo el calor disminuye drásticamente de 10 a 15 grados oscilando entre los 70 y 75 grados. Tiene un regulador para controlar la velocidad del extractor, obviamente entre más alto se ajuste más calor extraerá. Una maravilla y sobre todo un aliado para mi steam deck para controlar y preservar sus componentes internos. Por cierto, tiene una pestaña quite al momento de abrirla funciona como soporte para mantener de pie al steam deck, que hace que se vea muy bonito. Y la batería, dura muchísimas horas en la máxima velocidad. Súper recomendado!!!

So, I dock my deck, and have windows 11 installed, I play fortnite a lot and my friend plays wow. So my deck would get a little warm,. Anyway, with the extra exhaust fan it runs a lot cooler, exactly what I needed. I have a fan blowing on the back of the deck also. It's completely quiet, the stand is sturdy, it is very light weight, and powerfull enough. My only complaint is the led light is big and too bright for me, but I just put a sticker over it, still 5 stars though, ty 😊

The Binbok Steam Deck Cooling Fan is a higher quality material than expected.Material doesn't feel cheap, but sturdy. Not too heavy, which is nice because Steam Deck itself is already quite heavy. Solid stand also to put the steam deck upright like a Nintendo Switch.Clear instructions in the supplied booklet. Easy to attach and detach. Doesn't seem to damage the Steam Deck itself as it isn't super tight to the deck, but if it really does requires more frequent use.Fan can be set softer / louder. At max decent volume. instead of blowing the cool air into the deck like many of those laptop fans do, it sucks/pushes the hot air out of the deck by being placed directly on the air vent of the deck itself.Positive because it does what it promises to do.Seems to reduce temperatures by 3 to 5 degrees on average, which is potentially great for reducing throttling and great for system longevity.

For the first 2.5 months this product would have received 5 stars. It did what it was supposed to, had good run time and good performance. However it completely died last week unable to take any kind of charge using multiple charge blocks and cables. I bought June 8th, so less than 90 days ago which is what their warranty claims to be. I reached out to the seller 4 days ago and haven't heard a peep, so I finally got Amazon to just give me a refund. Because it's a 1 off refund and they can't process an warranty exchange I'm being charged an automatic restocking fee. Obviously that's annoying and the Amazon cust service rep was super nice and offered me a promo credit to cover it but it's still very frustrating. I would save your money and go with a different brand/seller that will give their customers the time of day.

Got this fan like two or three weeks ago the charge last long time I've only charge it like once and is still going, a tad bit noisy but not annoyingly the only downside is that you can't use a case with it since the fit is very tight it really helps with game Tha over heat the deck so for now I'd recommend it
