Great value
Excellent scope for the price! The image is clear, and the red/green illumination works great in different light settings. Easy to install and sight in. Perfect for casual target shooting or

WOW. what a difference this makes. (Update: just broke. Good for normal rifles but do not use in a Break-Barrel piston air gun)
Update: 3 months and, probably 2,000 rounds through a break barrel nitro air gun caused the internal lens to come loose.I am still giving three stars since I think it will work with normal recoil rifles and just is not made to experience the rigors of a break barrel piston airgunI initially loved this. However, I think it is not capable of handling the double recoil of a break-barrel Piston Air gun. My initial problem was "scope creep" even though the retaining rings were tight. I tried double stick tape and the barrel of the scope still creeped. I finally solved that problem by readjusting the rings and placed them against the expanded housing behind the windage knobs and front lens This seemed to solve the problem and I really enjoyed the scope. It worked fabulous until this week when it started to no longer keep alignment and then, today an internal lens broke loose making it inoperable.I believe it is a good scope but, just not made for break barrel spring or nitro piston airguns which, I have now learned require a specially made scope which can take recoil in both directions..My old recommendation:.WOW! What a difference this makes compared to my old, stock sigh,t which came with my air rifle. Its bright and, even after the sun sets I can still view the target or game. It took a while to sight in but now, well, I love it. I can actually see the hits from 70 ft away.It appears well built and is fairly large and heavy compared to my old one but seems very sturdy: a great sight for the price. The only problem I had was adjusting the optics for my aging eyes. The locking ring was on so tight I had to use a pliers to initially unlock it. I use 2X reading glasses but had to screw it out almost all the way before it became clear. On low to power 5 it is good but for more magnification it is not so clear with the same setting.Yes, I am sure there are better ones out there with more tweeks and toys but, for a beginner like me this cannot be beat for the price.
