Communion Wafers, Gluten-Free (Box of 50): Lumen by Abingdon Press

We have been using these wafers for a while now and they work well. They are a bit larger than our regular wafers, so easy to tell them apart. They are not as perfectly round as our regular ones, but again it helps keeping them apart. Taste? Well, it's gluten free, so.... Plus whoever heard of a really good tasting eucharist host anyways. :)

It was obvious before opening product that it was severely damaged. The package says "Fragile" and there would be inside approximately 50 wafers. Only 22 were whole. The rest were various sized fragments, totally unusable.I am not sure that I can use the 22 either because of their fragility.

We like the gluten-free wafers. We do not go through many so they will last longer.

The host resembles more of a crunchy cracker than a Eucharistic host. Breaks too easily when handled and arrived with quite a few pieces shattered. Go with hosts made out of gluten flour and water those seem to have been a little better to use.

I understand that these wafers are delicate, however what can be done about the packaging to protect the wafers instead of breaking ? Hopefully they were not packaged with unusable parts of wafers.Each wafer now is costing 37 cents each.

This is the second time I have received them and they have been all broken in pieces.

The wafers tasted like paper and came broken into many useable bits.

Not pleasant at all, like cardboard. They also go mouldy quickly, even when stored well. Will not buy again.

I was a bit disappointed with this product, as it is not what I am used to. It does not dissolve in the mouth as I prefer it to do. It is hard to dislodge minute fragments from my dentures. I will not be buying it again.

POOR QUALITY VERY HARD POOR CULOUR SHOULD BE PURE WHITE

These are suitable for what they are intended.
