Tight Fit
Purchased for a 2014 Elantra based on Amazon fitment checker suggested this fit my vehicle and the product description also suggesting that. Does fit but fitment is much tighter than the one it replaced. Either the plastic shrouding is off by a few millimeters or the rubber seal is slightly thicker than the previous filter. It feels like a height issue and not widthNo issues running the car at idle for a test but haven't driven yet. Will maybe revise the review if I find any issues in drive-ability with this filter. Am not expecting any immediatelyThe label on the packaging notes 2015 Kia Sportage. That vehicle does not use the exact same engine as the 2014 Hyundai Elantra. Rock Auto will recommend overlapping air filters for both cars (FRAM CA11053A being 1 example) but that site does not in general show the same air filters for both cars. I would potentially avoid this for any Hyundai / Kia that does not use the 2.4L Theta II engine like the Sportage doesAgain, it seems to fit the Elantra but closing the air box requires some pressure
