Can’t fault, great for detangling and combing through. Handle is nice to hold

Perfect for my needs. I have thick wavy hair. Good solid comb. Great value for money.

When I purchased this comb in December 2014, I owned one already - exactly the same Denman comb but older and dark silvery grey in colour, not black. As I find it excellent for combing through conditioner and detangling wet hair, I wanted to buy another to keep at my partner’s house. The original comb is still in use two or three times a week back at home.I have very long, fine, thick, fairly straight, unprocessed hair. It's in reasonably good condition.Well, something seems to have happened to these combs in the intervening years, and it’s not good! This one tears at my hair, is slow to detangle, and doesn’t seem to want to engage with the hair somehow. I noticed an awful lot of hair left in the shower tray afterwards too.There are visibly sharp seams between the comb's teeth.Having only used it two or three times since its purchase, I’m giving up on it and have ordered another brand of detangling comb to try. Will report back on that one if it’s any better.

I was gutted when I realised I’d left my trusty detangling comb in a hotel. I didn’t think I’d find one as good - but this one is actually even better. My hair is thick, and fairly long: this comb does the job without pulling or pain, on wet or dry hair.

Maybe a bit more flexible would be better for long curly hair?

Great for detangling. Use it every day. Used this comb for 20 years. It’s the best. Sadly recently left it at a spa, didn’t think I’d be able to get another. So thrilled to have tracked one down!

I have extremely tight curls and frizzy hair ( not a good look) but this comb actually gets through the lot. Recommend!

I have very fine, curly hair & am very tender headed. This comb is FANTASTIC! I wish my mother had bought one for me when I was a little girl because we could have avoided all the tears & my lifelong aversion to washing my hair because of the dreaded detangling.It gets rid of tangles so smoothly and quickly I'm always surprised! I've avoided combs for years because they'd break in my hair or were just too much of a pain to use but this one is ace. I can't recommend it enough!
