Works great good options just make sure you have the right model
Make sure you buy the right one. I bought one as I thought I had read it had ELRS. Well it did not. Make sure you choose the right model for what you're using it for. I ended up returning and getting the ELRS model and absolutely love the controller. Works great and has a decent set of options for controls

Great form factor.
Love this radio. I started out in FPV with the DJI controller V1, followed by the TBS Mambo, before landing on the Boxer. It’s great - fits perfectly in my hands, has a battery that lasts for days, is an easy route into ELRS, and has enough switches and buttons to do everything I want. I upgraded to the CNC Gimbals too - whilst the stock ones are fine, you can’t beat the precision feeling from that all metal gimbal. I would recommend the boxer to anyone that will listen, and even those that won’t!

The only radio you’ll ever need
The radio, master boxer is an amazing piece of equipment! Capable of long range flight starring multiple models, utilizing the ELS system, it is a great radio that will grow with you. The only negative point I can see is that it can be a challenge for new users to program and get right. Trust me it’s worth it. That little bit of a headache Will result in your ability to fly just about any claim out there with one radio. Would buy it again? Absolutely in a heartbeat!

vertical learning curve
if you're thinking about ordering the boxer start watching videos now. After an extremely painful few hours I'm never looking back and you won't either.I ordered the boxer because I don't want 10 pound radio the size of a bread box when I'm flying and I'm flying not looking at the screen, So not as concerned about the nice color touchscreen. If you can Manage the small screen and learn to navigate the system, Boxer might be a good choice otherwise you probably want the TX 16 S if you're a fixed wing pilot with a helicopter or two. I'm not gonna buy the TX 16 though I'm totally happy with this guy but it's very user unfriendly at first then it gets better, much. Extremely powerful.Bottom line if you're willing to learn and take the time you can escape spectrum ecosystem radio trap, And still fly dsmx planes no problem. One reason the boxer are selling more lately is the micro war birds, Fully compatible out of the box you want the multi 4 in 1 not the elrs, when setting it up set receiver config to multi and then go for v761, This will work with all the war birds eachine volantex etc. Also using on eflite habu air tractor and a infusion 180 heli. 👍🏻🙂 Couldn't be more satisfied even though I was a little doubtful I'd get stumped as I consider myself tech savvy for my age. It's not a learning curve it's a learning cliff, You have to unlearn everything you thought you knew bout rc radios. Once I figured out everything it was like walking into a brand new day.switching to radio master was a good move. That said if you're comfortable with spectrum and their exorbitant radio prices they don't kid around when they say BNF and Close loop ecosystems can be great. For example I use an old Apple SE that never fails. But I can't afford the top-of-the-line Apple or a phone that doesn't work very well so I stick with the cheap closed loop phone. But when I can buy a radio that just honestly destroys spectrum technology for a fraction of the price if I'm willing to just learn well I just had to and I'm glad I did.

Great Radio!
I just got into FPV and this is my first radio. After ready a ton of reviews online I pulled the trigger on the RadioMaster Boxer and I'm thrilled I did. At first the radio was bigger than I though it would be, but I adapted to it rather quickly. I downloading a simulator and started flying immediately. It took me some time to get used to the gimbals, as I started using the pinching technique compared to the thumbing technique I was used to on my DJI drones. This radio just gives you so many options and switches to use, you can customize it to be the perfect radio for you!
