Bergeon Loupe 12 x Triplet Lens 020560

I have used single lens x10 watchmakers loupes and found them difficult to use as they only have a small viewing zone without aberration. This dual lens loupe is excellent because almost the whole viewing zone is without aberration.The other good thing about this loupe is that second lens is removable so you can use it as a lower magnification loupe as well.BTW I am not sure why Amazon describe it as Triplet Lens 020560 the Bergeon model number is 1458A and it has two lens not three as triplet would normally imply.

It does the job, maybe a bit step price. Usually jewelers use the retractable type and maybe its most usefull to carry it with you, same effect.

Ok but not as good a quality as expected

I have a trio of Gowland's though always wanted to try a Bergeon as they're supposed to be one of the best. Think I'll stick with the Gowland's in this price range.

good product. when you are using highest magnification you need to be really close to the subject
