I love it, and everyone wants mine!
I will start by saying that I had a few reservations after reading reviews about the straps not being short enough, but I am 5'2" and about 133# and I can cinch it right on up so the board is easy to carry and under control. I always wear it across my body though. I had it at a SUP get together last week and everyone kept saying that they liked mine better than the one they had :-) I have a 10'6 32", and this strap has really helped me manage my board. The shoulder strap is so nicely padded that i can even let go of the board if I need to.There are 3 straps, one for shoulder, one to go round the narrower end of the board, and one to go round the larger end of the board. Each of the board straps can be adjusted to fit your board and has a strong clip that is easy to fasten/unfasten. Each of the board straps also has two little velcro loops for carrying paddles or what not. I put my paddle through the top loops on each strap so the paddle rests across my board. The loops hold so well that I can also use the paddle as another handle to hold onto (which is really nice sometimes because my arms are kind of short and the handle built into the board is a bit of a stretch). When I am done for the day I slide the board straps on while it's still in the water, loop in my paddle and then clip in the shoulder strap...duck my head through the strap and go! At the car, I pull my pad out of the trunk, then bend down to rest the board on the pad and unclip the shoulder strap and remove the paddle. Put the shoulder strap and paddle in the car and use the 2 board straps to maneuver the board into an upright position, unclip the board straps and push the board up on the car rack .....so much easier than before and less scratch damage to my rail because I have better control over my board....love it!

A must have!!!
So I have an 11 ft. SUP for cruising around in the harbor near my home... not too hard to carry that thing to the water and launch. A buddy of mine recently got me into surfing the thing!?! I'm definitely better at surfing, but trying to carry the my big board from the truck, all the way down to the beach was such a pain!!! Not any more after I bought the "Big Board SUP carrier/ sling"!!! It's stylish (Fits the hawaiian theme I soo enjoy!) comfortable, easy to use, and pretty much ready right out of the box!!! Package showed up right on time, just like they said it would, no issues what soo ever!!! Ordering online can be tricky at times... But not with Amazon!!! Thanks for the headache free experience!!! I am recommending this product to anyone who is looking for something similar!Did I mention the "fanny pack" version is worth it's weight in gold!?! Get a little otter box, to keep electronics from getting soaked, and you can store them in the little baggy this handy carrier comes with!!!

My husband can carry it, still doesn't really work for me
We live about a block from the beach (and then over a hill of sand), so I bought this to haul my paddle board to and from the water. I am 5'4", 107, and I've got an 11' board. I was able to get the board to and from, but it was a struggle and left my hips bruised. Even with the straps adjusted to the smallest setting and crossing this over my chest, the board was still really low to the ground and awkward to maneuver. My husband who is 6', 175 had a much easier time using this, and it worked well for his needs. I really like that the straps can accommodate the paddle also, but can't give this five stars because it really isn't adequate for someone my size with this size board. I am going to look into getting wheels for the board, but my husband will keep using this.

Makes life easier
I have to walk 3 blocks to the beach then down 2 stories of stairs. My SUP even has a handle but I could only go about 1 minute at a time before I had to rest. Maybe I'm weak. Maybe my board is old and heavy. Who knows. All I know is now I don't need to rest anymore. And, once I get to the beach I can put it in the fanny pack and head out. I might not look that cool with a fanny pack on but I'm 36 and married with children. At this point in my life I'd rather be comfortable.

Big Board Schlepper prevents wrist strain
I have a 10'10" SUP, which weighs about 30 pounds. The Big Board Schlepper carrying strap makes it much easier for me to carry the board, and prevents wrist strain during a long walk with the board. It is easier to balance the board if I spread the straps out to the far ends of the board, and wear the shoulder strap on the opposite shoulder. The "fanny pack" carrying case is handy for stowing the straps once I reach the beach. They thought of everything, even a way to carry the paddle. Thanks to the Big Board Schlepper, I no longer dread carrying my SUP, and am, therefore, using the SUP more often.
