Only thing I can think to complain about is that the sponge pad tends to curl up when it dries. So you have to weight it down with something if you want it to lay in the palette to store it.The sheets it came with like to try to roll up at the edges when they first get wet but if you douse the foam and lay the sheet down then close the lid for a few minutes it fixes itself.

I have a much larger 'artists' palette' but it's so big that it's too cumbersome to use decently. Takes up too much room on the desk, the sponge is iffy and the thing gets dirty and moldy quickly.THIS unit does none of those things. The sponge is high quality as are the membrane sheets. It seals well and keeps paint very fresh and is a much better size not taking up so much space on the desk. Highly recommended.

I use this to hold acrylic paint for miniatures. So many times I've blended a special color, had to leave my work only to have what I blended dry out and have to mix it again, to continue. This has a foam pad that stays wet with replacable sheets that lie on top of the pad that hold the paint you mix. I left it for 2 days and there was my blended color paint still wet, waiting for me to continue the work. Easy to clean. Bragged about it so much, bought another for a family member. Good price too.

This is a great wet pallete for anyone that uses acrylic paints. It's the perfect size to fit multiples colors and store easily when not in use. It is incredibly easy to set up and clean when needed. It will typically keep my paints wet for around 3 days.
