A few caveats:1. The manual is confusing. I see a flashing yellow light when I turn it on but don’t what it means. Turns out you need to connect it to your WiFi or it will keep flashing.2. HDMI inputs are basically useless. It turns off after 15 minutes of inactivity. So if you plan to connect your console or pc to soundbar and use video pass through then don’t bother. It will cut off your picture as well. And I believe they are hdmi 2.0 anyway so no 4K 120hz.3. Surround setting will reset every time you turn it on. Not too much of an issue if you like to have surround sound on which you absolutely should for this soundbar.Other than that this soundbar has great value. It supports basically all kinds of connection. For most people eARC is the best way since it supports Dolby atmos. But don’t expect Dolby atmos to make a huge difference since it’s only two channel. Bass is more than enough. For treble I recommend at least +3 for cleaner sound. Movie eq preset seems like the best one overall. But the soundbar sounds great even without any spatial effects. It can get very loud. This is the soundbar you get when you don’t wanna spend a ridiculous amount of money but still looking for something better. This is also great if you have a monitor that only has aux output or an older tv that only has optical. Its great versatility is what makes this soundbar different.

To start off this product sounds good. I liked all the ways to connect. In there app you can use it to connect to your music apps, but it wasn’t very good and the volume didn’t go very high. I found the best way to listen to music and tv was threw air play it was the only way I could use the bar. It would not hook up to my lg it is a older model 4k, but not to old. I tried arc and digital it would not work on each one. So my only option was air play. I would have to start my tv then the bar and my Apple TV then switch sound over to air play every time. So I wasn’t going to do that. So I returned it, if it would have connected to my tv and my remote worked on it I would have keep it. because it did sound really clean and crisp with good bass. Also I tried calling Phillips to see if I was doing something wrong, but in the middle of trying to hook it up he hung up on me. So not good customer support.

I really like this soundbar. It was fairly easy to set up, but not without its flaws. The app isn't the best, and setting up the Airplay was kind of a pain. Other than that, though, the system is great—lots of bass! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fairly inexpensive option.

It arrived a bit later than originally scheduled, but arrived safely on the porch. No damage to box, and everything was packaged inside the box neatly. Setup was somewhat arduous, but it was completed within an hour. When we finally turned on the television, "Sanford and Son" was just starting and we got to listen to the opening theme song through the sound bar and subwoofer. The sound was impressive. The bass tone broke through, and rattled the television stand. Everything is in working order and it has become a valued asset. I definitely will recommend this soundbar unit.

Definitely go with ARC connection, HDMI cord.

The sound bar is okay without the subwoofer. The subwoofer is horrible quality. I will never buy again. But I will keep sound bar. The sound bar has horrible range when connecting to Bluetooth.
