After seeing the reviews I was dubious but once the fans and balls were on the cake it looked fab and really finished it off. The fans are very fidly and flimsy I also used my own glue dots as the glue came apart on the fans, also the stick doesn't go thru the fan it sticks to the back which means it doesn't stay stuck for long and is also at an angle but once it was in the cake the buttercream held it in place anyway.

I actually love how they look and they are nice and small just like I wanted but as the reviews say they are extremely hard to put together as I didn’t want to stick the dot and stick to the back as it wouldn’t of supported its weight so I had to use my sewing stuff to make a whole big enough to push the straw through that wayNot worth the time to get them to look really nice but they are lovely when put together

Paper is not gold on both sides (white on back).Sticks not attached and nothing to attach with.

Given the price, it was expected that the quality would not be as good as hoped. 2 of the fans were completely unusable due to glue all over them, but there was enough for the cake. The join in the middle was poor - showing the white side of the paper so a steady hand to trim them was needed. Some were not fully glued down the join either. The fans do needs pulling out to shape - which was fine. The sticky dots worked well to hold the stick to the fan. The gold balls were also fine. The overall effect was better then expected if you ignored the the less than straight trimming! Gave 2 stars because some were unusable, otherwise would have given a 3.

These are very cheap and they feel it, The back is white please be wary of that. But if use them well with other accessories, they look really really expensive! My birthday cake Looked 10 times better with them great cake decoration very easy to assemble. Be mindful, they are also easily broken, So maybe bring a spare 2 with you to the occasion.
