Was such a perfect, absolutely amazing gift for my three kids.My son loves pretending to be a treasure hunter and now a 5 year old, a three and a two year old keep running around the house talking about what they finding etc. Keep them busy for so long. Small enough for small hands but big enough to look the part. Live the rechargeable, no need for expensive batteries. The sound is fine for the kids, not sure of the range, will only be used in the house & garden

These work realistically for up to around 100 meters - as long as there is nothing in the way (walls etc). In a house expect around 30 - 50 meters. Good battery life, easy to use. The blip after each call has ended is a useful feature to save talking over each other all the time. You also need them quite close to your mouth otherwise you cannot hear anything. Great for kids - but younger ones mainly. The lanyard is a great feature and colours is also good so they do not get mixed up. Good for the price and better than comparable products at the same price point. No hissing or white noise in the background which is good.
