A Great safety addition for any bike, although not a perfect solution!
A rear view mirror is essential for any cyclist in my opinion, sadly today it seems very difficult to get anything decent! This is ok but not perfect. Below is my summaryPros:Tucks out the way well and very easy to fit and remove for weekend trail riding etc.You get a view of whats behind, and you get a wide view which is good.Mine has not broken so i would say its durable.Cons:The mirror is down low at handle bar height, so your rear view image is very low and small. As the mirror is mounted on the end of your handle bar, its easy to knock it out of adjustmentalso i have a feeling that its does drift out of adjustment on rough ground-which is maybean unfair point?Final-The very best mirror i ever had was all stainless steel on a long stem that was mounted to the handle bar, with about a 4inch round glass mirror - You wont get these anymore now because sadly no one would use themas they dont look "cool", so this is to date the best option i have found.

Just Good Enough/Now Better Than I Thought.
The adjustable joints move about so on a bike ride I'm forever readjusting but I like the product build despite this shortcoming which I think I can fix, so only three stars. The rear viewing image is small but then so is the mirror. REVIEW UPGRADE 13/9/16. The horizontal joint came ready assembled and it was this component that kept swivelling. When I took the mirror apart I found a central screw that could be tightened which I did and am now a very happy bunny as the mirror no longer pivots of its own accord. I had faith and now rate the item with 5 stars

Useless!
Although the mirror gives a good rear view of the road when positioned correctly, it is impossible to keep the mirror at that position when riding; you can't get at the inner nut to tighten it and stop the mirror constantly dropping down! Like SO MANY things nowadays, the "designers" are hopeless at their jobs, - simple access to tightening this nut would have made what is utterly useless, a GREAT product! - Be warned, Do not buy! Cheers ! Tony.

very poor field of view
i put this mirror in the bad design category.the mirror is too small, which means it's difficult to get a real picture of what's behind especiallyif after a big bump the mirror moves slightly (or more likely it's nudged with your hand or by brushingagainst a bush or similar).the fixing is a mess of components when it comes out of the box, but if the assembly diagram is followed it thenbecomes easy - i made the assembly on a table laying out the bits before screwing anything together andit was ok just frightening at first - just dont lose the assembly sheet or confusion will take over if you arentmechanically minded. do things slowly and logically and follow the assembly instructions and it becomes simple.when mounted on the bike its difficult to get the picture i want as the angle has to be spot on due to thelimited field of vision of the mirror. a couple of degrees up or down and you lose sight of everything you need to see.would i buy it again - no. i'd buy a bigger mirror and perhaps a circular one.

My wife already has one of these and likes it + I also have the Zefa Spy mirror which is excellent This is also a very good mirror with an excellent field of view but with one flaw in that it can slip down if not tightened properly; if over tight it will then not adjust. A simple design change is required - if the two surfaces were serrated they would grip together when tightened a little, a very common feature I've seen used effectively elsewhere.

Great value
I bought this after a previous mirror broke. It appears to be quite robust and the ability to move the mirror inboard, across the handlebar grip, is very useful and minimises the chance of accidental damage. The mirror is east to adjust however the view behind is not the greatest. Overall, for me, the mirror is a good compromise between rear visibility, likelihood of damage, adjustability and ease of use, although if I was commuting in busy city traffic I’d want a better view behind me.

Very very good
Good clear mirror. Previous to this I used a cheap £5 one that was big enough but the quality of the reflective surface was lousy. This zefal's mirror surface is good and clear. Size about right for me. Easy to fit. Problem of inconveneince: you cannot lean your bike sometimes on the right side because the mirror is in the way - by the way, I have 'bar-ends' and my mirror is at the top of the right hand one. But good value mirror, extremely adjustable.

good safety fearture
Update. I've been using this mirror for several months and am delighted with it. Its remained stable on 25 mile off road and on road rides and is very easy to adjust on the move. Its very well designed, provides a good rear view, is easy to fold when transporting your bike in the car and even looks good. What more could you want ?Very please with this mirror. Its not too big and looks good on the bike but most of all it gives a good field of view behind you. It is easy to fit with lots of adjustment but be prepared to spend time adjusting it several times to get it right. It stayed stable on a 12 mile off road ride so very pleased with it.
