This printer fit well within the price range that I was looking for with the features that I needed. Set up was very easy. All of my devices are Apple, and there were no compatibility issues or problems printing from my iPad, phone or MacBook Pro. I like the individual ink cartridges, but they are aren’t carried by the local Walmart or Target stores. I’ve ordered replacement from the Epson web site, price was decent and delivery was very fast. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

First of all I am a repeat customer of Epson printers, my last one was 12 years old, XP-430, time for a new one. This came highly recommended and was priced good enough for my budget.Pros:Easy to set up. It took 10 minutes from unboxing to printing.All functions work great and its easy to save to computer, or iCloud, etc.Powers up quickly.Bottom front load paper tray (LOVE THIS).Compact design.Bluetooth connection, easy to set up and connect to wifi.Cons:Extremely loud while printing. I placed it in 3 solid places, exactly the same level of noise each time.Ink runs out way to fast and is expensive to replace even for generic brands (hard to find)Black ink is base and I hardly printed anything and was notified ink was out!I trusted the reviews but never saw one that commented on noise or ink levels. It is still a great product but do your homework before purchasing if you require heavy printing or a quiet device.RE-REVIEW after a month:Started out great, untl I changed the ink, which is ridiculous. The ink tanks are expensive and run out after MINIMAL pages or printing.After installing the new cartridges, the quality was awful. I followed the prompts to clean the heads, reprint, power clean, useless.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRINTER!!!!!

I’ve had printer for a year. Don’t make large quantities of prints. Printer has worked beautifully until just recently. Suddenly produced blurry, unreadable prints. I went to settings and ran what was called power cleaning. That fixed everything.

I was very unimpressed that the Maintenance Box was already full by the completion of a very simple installation of the initial ink. The Maintenance Boxes are designed to last for quite some length of printer usage. Thank you to Amazon for also carrying the T04D1. I transferred the old Maintenance Box from my broken down XP-5100 into this 5200 and purchased another T04D1 for when I'll need it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is the first time i purchased this brand and I am very pleased I did. I’ve used the same brand for years and always gave me issues even setting it up. This was easy to set up and I was printing in no time.

This is the worst, most user unfriendly printer I have ever owned. And I have been in the graphics business for 30 years. By the time you push Print it still didn’t work! Not one of my many printers have been this impossible to use! It is going back!!’ Doesn’t even come with a required USB to hook up. Epson’s too cheap? Paper tray is flimsy! Never did get to print anything!! A dozen steps to push print and it still didn’t print. I don’t want to work this hard to print a page! Awful.

Fastest setup for the beginners with easy directions

Great printer while it prints. I do not recommend this printer because it will not allow me to print in black n white while the color cartridges are empty. I’ve had better success with brother and Lexmark printing in bw only
