Powerful and versatile power bank for its size
I wanted a power bank that I could connect to a solar panel to use mainly for emergencies when the power was out for any significant amount of time. I was looking for a small unit like this one with at least 100W usb-c output AND at least one AC outlet, which would allow me to charge and power the greatest range of small electronics, from cell phones, notebooks and tablets to AC devices like electric razors, beard and hair trimmers, a small battery charger, etc. This was the only power bank I could find that satisfied those requirements. It is on the pricey side but it did give me everything I was looking for so it was worth it to me.On a single charge I can charge my Chromebook twice or charge my iPhone 14 five times which is excellent. It's well-built and looks and feels like a quality product, which it is, in no part because this is a mature product being Goal Zero's fourth-generation of this power bank. So they have increased the power of wireless charging, increased the power of the usb-c ports and I love the fact that they now angle the display to make it much easier to read from various angles compared to the last version. The full color display is great showing you watts input and output as well as time to full or time to empty depending on whether you are charging the Sherpa 100AC or charging something from it.I use it with a very nice 100W folding solar panel I found here on Amazon. It plugs right into the solar-in port on the back of the Sherpa 100AC and it's good to go. I was able to easily get the max 60W in from the panel that the Sherpa can handle and it's not even summer yet so they're both working together exactly as I had hoped. If you are looking for a small but powerful power bank you can't do much better than this versatile little 2 pound powerhouse!

The Cadillac of power banks!
I've been considering one of these power banks for several years now. Finally decided that the next time this one was on sale I would pick one up. Well, Amazon had them on sale and I placed the order. It's obvious from the time you handle the box that this is a quality product. The weight alone tells you this one will get the job done! And will it ever. It's charged everything I've plugged into it more quickly than I expected and is excellent at charging my iPhone and iPad at the same time. Be aware of the dimensions of this unit and the weight if you plan to travel with it. It's NOT a lightweight unit. However the weight is not to heavy that it's uncomfortable, but you will know it's there in your backpack or briefcase. You can depend on Goal Zero to deliver clean reliable power in just about any scenario I can imagine. Would be very handy when the power might be out for a day or more. I can see several recharges for a mobile phone and at least one or more for a power hungry laptop. More than enough for a couple of days without A/C power. Don't let the price discourage you. Jump in and see what the "best" of a product design looks like.

Not worth the money, has issues.
I purchased this Sherpa PD 100 (4th generation) for my extended travel for work and workations, where I usually either don't have access to an outlet constantly or want to be flexible as to where I work and not be confined to outlet-proximity all the time (airport, flight, coffee shop, restaurant, beach, poolside, etc.). I also don't want the stress involved of constantly worrying about battery-life.As such, the following aspects were important to me and so after researching top products and brands I purchased different devices to compare (Anker, Baseus and Goal Zero) and I was actually excited about this one (TLDR; then disappointed). This is my honest review of this product (100pd 4th generation) for each one of the aspects that matter to me (and could matter to you if your use case is similar) and just to clarify I’m not affiliated with any company or being paid to test/do any review.1. Ability to charge my Macbook Pro 15" 2019. This device did indeed charge my Macbook Pro from 0% to 81% in about 65 minutes before depleting itself completely. Since I was using my computer lightly it would have probably charged a bit more if my Laptop was turned off. Not bad but I'd have hoped for more since my laptop’s battery capacity is around 8000mah and this power bank is advertised at 24k (3 times more my laptop battery), so that means that you can actually only use around 25% of the power bank mah (since it didn’t charge the battery in full). All power banks obviously lose energy in the process of charging so it's not necessarily worse than other ones, but it's just important to note that the 24K marked on the device is not even close to what you're getting eventually. However, it’s important to note this device only charges at 60W so comparing to other power banks it will charge itself slowly.2. Support pass-through charging so I can connect my laptop to it while charging both. This would reduce my need for multiple outlets and also I could easily charge both over night without forgetting to charge one (i.e. daisy chain them so outlet -> power bank -> laptop and wake up happy). Unfortunately this device can not do anything like this because (a) it only has one USC-C output (the other 2 are USB-A which can not charge a laptop). (b) it can not be charged from the USB-A while using the USB-C as output. So it's completely failing on this aspect. Their official manual does say you can charge a laptop while using the pass-through feature but after spending hours on this plus communicating to their customer service, it's incorrect and simply misleading. Big disappointment on this one. Their customer service does say that the AC model does support it, but I’m actually not sure if I believe them due to the fact that their manual says this model also support it. And the AC is about $300 so didn’t feel like spending another $100 to find out.3. Ability to wirelessly fast-charge my brand new iPhone 14 Max Pro. This fails on this criteria as well - many times it will not charge at more than 3W which is useless. Sometimes I would get 9-10W but it also many times just stopped all of a sudden and won't charge anymore unless you reset it (red light will appear on the device). Also it's false advertising again since they say the new model should charge at 15W. I tried many angles and also tried another iPhone (13 pro) and neither passed the 10W. I tried with MagSafe case, without MagSafe and on any angle you can think of - nothing works. So generally you may get your iPhone charged or it may just stop in the middle of the night and you wake up with 0%.4. Ability to wirelessly charge my AirPods Pro. It does charge but again very slow (1W/2W max). So not sure if it's normal or not but it takes a long time to wireless charge the AirPods Pro. It will sometimes stop in the middle as well.5. Ability to charge multiple devices. It can’t charge my laptop and my iPad at the same time (since only 1 USB-C output) so that fails on this as well. It can charge a laptop and phone at the same time. But the other 2 USB-A outputs are really just for small devices. Comparing to other power banks it is inferior.6. Flight/TSA approved. This does pass this criteria which is great. It also clearly states on the device it is approved by FCC so that helps if you are ever stopped by a rookie at the airport.7. Recharge time of the device. Takes relatively long time to charge 3-4 hours connecting with the cable provided and and Macbook Pro MagSafe charger. Even after I bought a 150W Anker charger it didn’t help since this powerbank will only charge at 60W. To compare the Anker 737 24K charges with the same charger in about 1 hour from 0% to full so it’s not a problem with my charger.8. Size and weight - a bit bulky but not too bad (comparing to Anker 737 24K it’s 100g heavier and I’d estimate it’s about 20% bigger).9. Precise display - detailed percentage, time to charge, port i/o. Overall it passed my criteria on this one, the display is very nice and shows what needs to be shown. This is better than some cheaper devices that only shows battery power as bars or dots.10. Warranty/Customer service - I was aiming for a reputable brand that stands behind their products. After playing with the device - feels like many issues exist (a) manual is incorrect (b) their customer service is not great at all and couldn't/didn't want to help with any of the points I mentioned.Bottom line - at $200 price point (plus taxes) I'd expect more than one output, pass-through charging, faster charge and wireless charge that actually work. Will be returning.

Nicely built battery pack
I’m using this to power my Starlink Mini. I haven’t had a chance to use it yet for the Starlink but it’s been great for keeping my iPad and phones charged when on the road. The form factor and controls for the battery are excellent.
