L-Leucine arrived on time and in tact. No odor or smell upon opening the bag. The product does not have a flavor. I’ve been adding it and creatine (also from Bulk Supp) to my Hydration drink. It does not dissolve fully, but not an issue for me. I just shake well before taking each sip. I may try it in my iced coffee.I’ve only been drinking it for 2 days, but will report back with results. No gas, no stomach upset.Updated (1 Week):Still no side effects or gastrointestinal issues. Progressive load and endurance in gym is much improved. Increased muscle pump (glutes/hams/quads).Since this product Does not fully dissolve in cold, warm or hot liquids I would suggest adding to a smaller quantity of fluid, and drinking all at once. I currently had been mixing w/hydration or Xtend EAA and sipping throughout the day, but by the end of day, product is at the bottom of vessel.I added to my hot coffee, product did not dissolve, floated to top, but also added a ‘peanut like’ flavor to coffee. Going forward I am only going to mix with 4oz Hydration fluid and drink at once.I’ll still leave 5 stars because supplements just simply have nuances and we just have to figure out what route & dose is best for us.

I bought the powder because I tend to mix/add extra amino acids into my drinks and wanted to include some additional Leucine Powder. It is pure and clean, just like advertised, no fillers or flavors. If you are not use to using an unflavored powder, it tends to have a bitter flavor and you need to mix it with something; flavor packs, other drink mixes,... I add mine into a pre/intra protein shake or a first thing in the morning shake.Pro: Product is a very fine powder, I have had no problems mixing it with my current drinks and it does not effect the flavor of them. Packaging is a heavy duty zippie type bag, takes up little room on the shelf, however on occasion I have issues getting it to seal shut but not that often. Price is very reasonable for the quantity purchased.Con: no scooper - this can be an issue for some but I just placed a left over one from another product in the bag, no problem.So far a good product, I am very satisfied with and plan on making future purchases.

The taste is horrible and it requires a mixing device to dissolve it. A flavored drink mix makes it tolerable. At age 69, I feel results quickly and pay attention. My energy level and strength are up noticeably after only two doses.

This product is great! I can already start to see a difference in my body composition. Also, Great price for the quantity and quality; however, it does not dissolve well and it has a salty taste to it. I recommend buying a drink mix that you like with a strong flavor and mixing it in a bullet/ninja blade mixer. If you do this, you will have a great drink! Anyhow, this is a great buy, and I highly recommend it if you are trying to build muscle and maintain a healthy body composition.

This is for pure Leucine powder. This is the most effective of the three amino acids found in the typical BCAA supplements. I figured why not just get the one I need and not pay for the other two that I don’t care about (Iso-leucine and valine).The price is certainly affordable. It is nice that there is no filler. The packaging is what is really key here. It does not take up too much space and the material, particularly the “zip-lock” type seal are really high quality.The taste is not too bad. You have to go into it knowing that it is not koolaid so its not going to taste like candy. But it is certainly drinkable in water. It dissolves okay as well. These are two key points were I saw complaints before and I have not found any problems.I think this is perfect for someone who wants to train with weights in a “fasted state”.Mixes okay and no digestion problems.

Leucine has been shown to be highly effective pre-workout to create an anabolic response post-workout. It also has been shown to help preserve muscle during fasted training.I work-out fasted. This product protects my hard-earned muscle while cutting weight without breaking my fasted state and even helps me increase my muscle mass further!Mixes decently well in a shaker cup, you might have throw some extra water in the cup and swish it around to dissolve any straggling powder in the cup after you drink it. There isn't really a taste to it at all, just mix it with pre-workout and you're good to go!I ordered 500g. The dosage needed is roughly about 3-5g's pre-workout (You should be getting Leucine post-workout as well, but I'm getting mine from my post-workout meal). 3g is roughly 1/2 tbsp. 500g will last me about half a year and my dosage translates to 20 cents a day. Definitely worth the benefits at those prices! Especially compared to over-priced BCAA powder that comes with extra calories from flavoring and what not.
