GoSports AirWedge Inflatable Beach Chair - Relax with The Comfort of Air (2-Pack)

I purchased these for a beach vacation and they worked great and are very sturdy. I don't like laying flat so the wedge was perfect and inexpensive. You sit on the flat part that has no air so it will not blow away. I covered it with a non sand collecting beach blanket and was very comfortable. Less air and you can lay on your stomach or flatter on your back. It took no time to blow up each time I went to the beach and I deflated and put in my bag when not in use. Beats carrying a chair back and forth.

My husband and I were flying to the beach and wanted something lightweight that we could pack with us to take on the plane. This is only 1 lb per seat and it worked like a charm. Took less than 1 minute each to blow up at the beach. They have the quick inflate valves so they blow up and delfate super quick. Also they fit right in my beach bag- no hauling clunky chairs needed. Just toss a beach towel over and you're good to go. The support was perfect for napping, reading and lounging. The sand doesnt brush off perfectly but they hosed down just fine when we got back to our condo. They also dont fold back up as perfect as they came but what does?

I love the concept. So far I've only tried them in the living room, but I think they'll be more comfortable than the common camp chairs. However, the air hole design is confounding. It's a small hole, which makes it somewhat hard to get air in. Additionally, there appears to be a little flap on the inside, which is supposed to keep air from leaving when you briefly take your mouth off of it to cap it shut. Not sure why it's necessary; air mattresses don't have this. It adds resistance when trying to add air, and makes it impossible to release the air when done. You have to push something into the hole to move the flap away, but that something can't be too big or it will block the hole as well. A toothpick might work fairly well. Finally, when trying to make a seal between your mouth and the air valve, the strap securing the cap totally gets in the way. This is because the strap attaches to the very top of the valve, instead of the base, where it would be out of the way. I think these could be improved immeasurably without adding any cost. Still, they're cheap and a comfortable way to sit in a park, if you don't mind sitting on the ground.Update: I just received an updated set of AirWedges, as promised (thank you very much!), and the air input/exhaust has been redesigned in a very satisfactory way. The opening is much much bigger, so getting the air in and out is easy. Exhausting the air took about 15 seconds (I wasn't trying for a record though). Blowing it up leisurely takes less than two minutes (using fairly healthy 63 year old lungs), and the mechanism prevents air from coming back out until you pull the valve assembly out of the hole in the body of AirWedge. Very good. I'll change my rating to 5 stars after I've had a chance to use it in the field for an extended test, in the sun.

It’s easy to inflate and quite comfortable to use. However, it’s not very practical on a sandy beach. After only a few uses, both started leaking air, which was disappointing. Storage is also not the most convenient. Not so durable option overall.

A lot smaller than it seems. Good for a small child/ Toddler size at most

I love these inflatable beach loungers... but I use them in the bathtub! The back of my bathtub is straight up, so I cannot recline. I place one inside my bathtub and the slanted back allows me to recline so I can enjoy soaking. It floats, but my body weight on the long piece of material keeps it submerged. It's an easy solution to a uncomfortable bathtub problem.

I admit to being skeptical about this product's construction before ordering, but I took a chance realizing that the cost was minimal. However, upon receipt, it was evident that the vinyl plastic is a considerably thick gauge and likely to withstand rough handling (aside from forceful puncturing). I was also pleasantly surprised to realize that the 3-celled air cushion for the backrest inflated by lung power in less than a minute and deflated in a matter of seconds, thanks to its combo air nozzles: the smaller inner nozzle prevents air from escaping while inflating & the larger outer nozzle allows the cushion to deflate really fast. As for comfort, I was again surprised that the back cushion provided such comfortable and sturdy support to my lower and middle back regions. Covered with a colorful blanket, it should provide the needed relief from hours of standing at summer music festivals that this 72-year-old now finds necessary. Excellent product for its low price.

While the product comes in at a low price, I was shocked when I opened the box on vacation and discovered these only inflate on the wedge, not the entire chair. They also have a large hole to inflate, like an air mattress, rather than like a beach float. This made it pretty difficult to inflate without a pump, which thankfully we had on our trip but not at the beach. My son ended up trying it out and we ultimately left the floats for someone else as they were pretty useless. May be ok for normal beaches, but in Florida on the gulf, the sand was just too hot and could be felt through the plastic. I was super excited to use these and an as disappointed in the end. It may say in the description that these do not inflate, but I was hurrying to buy items and the photo made me bieve they inflated, not that they are flatter than a pancake.
