Must haves for cat fountains
Maintenance is a must for cat fountains. Filters are good quality, arrived timely. Easy to clean and replace the filters.

Nice water fountain for small cats and dogs - a few issues though
Overall the drinking fountain works fine and is attractive, However, as others have said the assembly, particularly the water proofing and routing of the power cable is VERY VERY poorly illustrated and described. You will be scratching your head trying to figure that step out. They should have provided a video link on how to assemble. I'm also disappointed n that there is no link to replace the pump when that will eventually fail. But, if you type the part number into Amazon, you can find replacement pumps. The ceramic fountain will last forever (unless you drop it!). It is adequate size for a couple of cats, but you will need to refill every couple of days to keep the water level high in the main bowl.

Bravo finally on a easy to clean cat water dispenser
After buying and throwing away several cat water dispensers (water, metal, plastic), and even making one with an aquarium pump system and a glass bowl, this one is the best. The cat water dispenser, porcelain, is very easy to clean - no scale buildup to scrub off, the assembly for the filter and sponge to support the pump is also very easy to clean and install particularly with the filters are self contained. The pump is quiet and the cat loves the fountain.
