Are the backpack straps removable by chance?

Negative. Just like any other back pack, the straps are stitched in to the fabric. They are readjustable very easily. I am a flight attendant, and this awesome backpack will fit underneath the seat, which is quite important for a frequent traveler..unless you grossly overpack! Ai really recommend this backpack! Really functional!

What is the difference with the "upgraded" version of the black/brown?

May I know how would be the weight of the bag for 15.6 size ?
