FinetecWatercolor Metal Tin, 12-Color Pearlescent Rainbow Set (F1200)

Unlike most "metallic" paints, these actually ARE metallic and show up on white watercolor paper. The color selection is nice and I do use both golds. The lower right paint is supposed to be "purple" but it sure reads red in the pan and on paper! I had trouble today opening the tin for the first time for some weird reason. Make sure to really saturate the pans when you want to use. The colors are a great selection and It's fun to add some sparkle to some of my art! Hope this was helpful to someone. Happy painting!

Love these watercolor paints. Very creamy and intense color. They look beautiful as a wash or full strength. Both ways dry to a pretty sheen. I use them for creating, mostly, Christmas cards. Also great for splattering backgrounds to add a little colorful shimmer. Well worth the price.

I love these!! i dont use metallic water color paints all the time so these will definitely last a long time. They are pretty nice just on their own, the golds and warm tones are much more pigmented. They also have refills so you can choose what colors you want to replace so i highly recommend!

Don't buy this set if you are getting it for the deep sapphire blue. That's actually why I ordered this. It is blue and deep, but not the electric blue that it looks like in the tin. However, if you think oxidation and patina effect are beautiful, you'll find this set is amazing. I was disappointed in the blue until I sampled all the other colors with it on watercolor paper and realized it is just a stunning rust and verdigris palette. Be patient with me; by tonight I should have some photos uploaded so you can see what I mean. Note that I actually received my set from a different seller--I got mine through Dick Blick on Amazon. There was a (reasonable) shipping fee through that seller, but I received an intact set in a timely manner.

These are so beautiful. I use them for card making, and lettering mostly, or to add a bit of pop or highlight to a painting. They are gorgeous layered over top of regular watercolors as well. They work beautifully on black paper but I have some difficulty getting very vibrant colors on white paper with the purples blues and greens. They tend to dry with a muddy look to them. I love these for my purposes and intend to purchase additional colors. Just beautiful.

Saw these watercolors first in an upscale art shop and was impressed with the quality and the sparling results of the paint. This set is a bargain for such high quality watercolors. Highly recommend.

I love this palette! I have the gold palette, so I wanted to give this palette a try. It’s amazing! Just add a few drops of water wait a little bit then they’re ready to use! The colors are amazing, and I love the tin palette it comes in.

update: I didn't know this until I watched some youtube videos. you want to drop some water on the pan and wait for the pigment to soften. then it's GLORIOUS!These are beautiful colors but they are a little patchy when blended out. have to figure out how to use them still. But when used almost dry they are gorgeous
