Best I ever buy

OK, some of you people bought this as an outdoor security light for lighting up the outside. But I bought mine for a reason all together, I bought mine as a portable light to work outside in the dark, on my cars or what ever the project might be at the time. I bought portable halogen work lights big ones and small ones. The downside to them is they are hot and when they are hot you can not touch them to move them and it burns you if your to close to them, I could go on but you get the idea. They are to dangerous to use and work with. This light here is cool and twice as bright as any of those portable lights on the market to day. They are ever so bright and have a good wide field of light and you can work right next to them and not get burnt from them. Plus I can move it anywhere and place anywhere I want to have light. I even used it what it was for lighting up the back yard to have summer party's, they hung from the tree's in back and never got hot to damage the tree's or start a fire. But OH what a wondrous light they put off like it was day instead of night. I bought it for another reason altogether but it works for me in so many different way's. These are worth your hard earned money on, without feeling let down that your not getting what you payed for.

This light is extremely well built vs. some of the other brands similarly priced units. It is difficult to quantify the light output but it will light up an area like a miniature sun. It would be too bright IMO to use for lighting up something close like a portable flood light since it outputs a huge amount of light. The color of the light is very usable and not too peaky in any specific area. It weighs a decent amount and is in a heavy duty metal (heatsink for the LED light) and glass enclosure that will likely endure the elements for a long time.One thing to note is that it doesn't come with a plug or at least mine didn't so you will need to have an electrician wire it in to your house or just connect it to a NEMA 5-15P style plug if you are in the US. Overall it is a very good light and I plan on purchasing a couple more as it is unequaled compared to the many other units I have purchased to date.

I got this to give me some light on my back deck while replacing an outdated floodlight. First, this thing is a lot bigger than I expected it to be but it's necessary because of the amount of light it generates. Speaking of which, this thing BLASTS out some serious light! I ended up having to use some washers when mounting the bracket because of the size of the holes, which are pretty big. While the light is big in size, being that it's LED, it's not heavy. They could have gotten away with making the mounting holes a lot smaller, it's not like you need to use lag bolts to mount it. Anyway, I've had it up for a week now and it works great. We had a torrential downpour yesterday where we got 4" of rain in an hour and a half and it fired right up last night. Very happy with this purchase!
