Project Patio 1-1/4" Wrought Iron Patio Furniture Feet Glides and Outdoor Chair Leg Floor Protectors - End Cap Inserts - Deluxe (24 Pack - Black)

After reading multiple reviews, I selected this product. At the same time that I am installing 1-1/4" patio chair glides, I am also installing 1-1/2" patio chair glides. I bought both chair glides from Amazon. The key is correct measurement. The measurement in question is the inside diameter. The thickness of the wrought iron fitting is NOT included in this measurement. The 1-1/4" glides have a uniform diameter and so it is easy to partially insert them in the setting. One quick square tap from a mallet and the glide is set. I used my Dremmel with an abrasive wheel to clean up the inside surface of the setting. The glide is well made and feels solid after insertion. The 1-1/2" product I bought has four small nibs near the bottom of the glide, which makes the final diameter of the glide too big. They are small and no doubt designed to ensure a snug fit; however, they interfere with a snug fit and you have difficulty getting a solid blow with your mallet. Recall, you are holding the cap at the same time you are striking it! The point is I wished I had bought the 1-1/2" product from the same manufacturer. Hope this helps.

True, long term durability remains to be seen as they have only been installed for a few weeks but thus far they are working great. Passed through the first temperature change without falling out.My mother didn't know these existed and had been doing her best to replace the old worn out feet with another product - which didn't really work (it needed steady replacement and doesn't keep moisture from the furniture).These fit nicely into the bottoms of the chairs, lounges and table - followed the instructions for the two feet which needed a little help to fit snuggly. Now the iron part of the furniture is slightly higher than the deck which should keep the water from standing on it.

The glides worked perfect! I read the directions emailed to me and cleaned out the build up before inserting the glides. They snapped right in without using force. Now the chairs slide nicely on the outdoor rug.

These are NOT 1-1/4”! Wasted my time and money. Measured twice! They are 1/16” too small. Going to try to fill with some kind of adhesive. Update**Vendor contacted me re: product and refunded my purchase price. It’s not whether you make a mistake or not, it’s how you fix it. This. Endor obviously cares about his customers and his business. I did use gorilla glue to secure one glide as an experiment. Doesn’t look great but it may be a fix if I cannot find the correct size.

These fit perfectly. These seem a little heavier duty than the originals. We have them on bar stools inside the house.

This was actually the incorrect size and am returning them for a refund. However, I got the 1 1/2 size in the same brand by the same vendor and they work great!

We have an older metal patio set and the feet wore out. These replacement ones worked perfect. They were easy to install and keep my patio from getting any scratches from the furniture legs. Be sure to measure , first set I ordered were too big.
