HARD DRIVE FAILURE!
I bought this HP laptop July 26, 22. The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was that it was silver. It was supposed to be blue. Well, I could live with that. My computer tech guru helped me with the set up, everything seemed to be working fine. But not so fast! After 2 weeks of using the computer I got the dreaded blue screen. This happened 3 more times. The 4th time it happened we ran a diagnostic test which said, "HARD DRIVE FAILURE". I got in touch with HP customer service and was told it was covered under the warranty. Whew. HP sent me the packing box and label to ship it to them. When HP received the laptop and ran their own tests I received an email stating that the "The service required to fix the issue is due to accidental damage" and was not covered by the warranty. WHAT! It cost me another $374.99 to get it fixed. So, a laptop that should have been brand new and cost me $749.00 now cost me $1,123.99. I am a retiree and had not expected to spend another $374.99 to fix a "NEW" damaged laptop that was not of my doing.Doris

Good overall, bad usb-c
Overall a great machine. Great processor and plenty of RAM for the price.Only downside is the usb-c with old technology that won't charge or output video.

It died one day after the 2 year warranty.
I loved this laptop until the day after the warranty expired and it failed to boot because the hard drive was dead. 😡
