Full synthetic compressor oil
Triax lubricants are top of the line. This compressor oil is full synthetic and worked great for my big Ingersol Rand compressor. Starts up easier is quieter and runs cooler. And a better price than all the others.

This oil is all we use now.
I've been using the TRIAX Kompressor MV 100 oil for both of my compressors for a while now, and I have to say, it's a great product. As someone who relies heavily on industrial machinery, the performance of compressor oils is absolutely critical to keep everything running smoothly and this oil does so at a much better price than I used to pay.

TRIAX Kompressor MV 100 / SAE 30 - Full Synthetic. DOES NOT RUN COOLER
Hopefully great oil, but the reviews stating it runs cooler have no data to back that up. My thermal camera clearly shows that my 7.5 HP Eaton compressor does not run cooler. Photos attached. My research found this: "There are no widely published, peer-reviewed studies that specify an exact temperature reduction (in degrees) for air compressors switching from mineral to synthetic oil. Most available information comes from manufacturer documentation, industry articles, and field experience, which highlight the benefits of synthetic oils—such as improved thermal stability, reduced oxidation, and longer oil life—but do not provide precise, measured temperature differences. The primary benefits of synthetic oil are its ability to maintain performance and lubrication at higher temperatures, not necessarily to lower the running temperature in every case.Summary: There is no universally accepted, published data showing a specific temperature drop for air compressors using synthetic oil. Most claims about running cooler are based on improved heat resistance and longer oil life, not measured temperature reductions in all applications."

Seems Like a good alternate oil
My compressor called for air base oil at 100$ a gallon. This oil claims to be the same specs for much cheaper (but still not cheap). This oil compared to the air base. Feels the same weight, looks the same color, it’s a known brand. I’m Gonna run it, seems likeA good alternative. If my compressor hoses up I’ll let y’all know.
