Rock climbing and tying knots
It's a good quick reference to remind you about whatnots and how to tie things the bowling follow through figure 8 and everything

Learning knot tying
I got these for stocking stuffers for my boys to learn knot tying. They were ok, but the rope was thinner than I thought it would be. The cards were stiff while moving them on the grommets. The illustrations were confusing on some. But all in all they are kinda cool to hook onto their backpacks while hiking and camping.

Knots, Knots, and how to make more Knots
This is absolutely fantastic. I have this clipped onto my ten essentials day pack and routinely practice knots. I love the instructions and the size. The item is great for learning or refreshing so that if you forget a step, this portable waterproof flash card set is awesome. Yes, you can use your phone if you have service…but some adventures take you away from service and this works perfectly for that!

Some repetition, missing some good knots
The scope of these cards is limited to the knots themselves. They talk very little about application and have zero discussion of anchor building. That's too bad because climbing knots are relatively simple but even quads and two-point sport anchors have a lot going on.What's in here:overhand, overhand on a bight, double overhand, fisherman's knot, flat overhand, water knot (so 6/19 knots in here are the overhand knot)Figure 8, figure 8 follow through (the one the gym teaches you to use to tie in), figure 8 bunny ears, figure 8 on a bight (kind of, it's just a double eight if you're not tying it around a harness). So 4 knots are the Figure 8.Munter Hitch, Clove Hitch, Girth HitchPrusik, Autoblock, Klemheist, Bachmann. So 4 Prusik variations.Double Bowline, Alpine ButterflyNo directional figure eight on a bight, no BHK.The presentation is alright, and maybe this is the right way to handle all the variations of the same couple knots that show up in climbing. I just think there's room for a much better product here.
