No, but it works as advertised. It’s a 20ma current loop so you need a 12-24V PS and a 250 ohm resistor to concert to voltage at the input of whatever it goes to. I believe it can measure 0 to 30 feet of water above the sensor. I am using it to detect a change of about 8 inches so maybe a 100mv swing. There are controllers on amazon for this, however we used a USB converter and an old laptop for a controller.

Will this work in salt water or will corrosion and salt cause it to fail?

It s hard to say. Only the manufacturere can confirm this.I have some of them working for over a year without any problem. CAREFULL THOUGH!! THE MEDIA YOU ARE SUBMERGING INTO MUST BE CLEAN WATER. CHLORINE HIGHLY AFFECTS THE UNIT. IT DOES NOT LAST MORE THAN A MONTH IN CHLORINATED WATER OR SEWAGE.

Can it work to measure diesel level?
