The tape looks thin but it worked perfectly to insulate my portable A/C at the window. I’ve only had it up for a few days but so far so good. Adheres well, easy to install.

I would definitely recommend this tape for insulating doors and windows before a cold/arctic blast. The tape is relatively thick but still seems to be moldable for the cracks and crevices. So far, it seems to hold up well, too. We are currently dealing with 3-7 degree temps for lows, which is unusual for our area. I used this to tape off the cracks in the attic door and tape certain parts of some older metal windows. It stuck well on both wood and cold metal. Some of the areas were a little dusty, too, but it is still holding. It worked so well that I did not even put up the plastic insulation on the windows. We have managed to keep the house at a reasonable temperature without having to run the heat much. The tape made a huge difference in stopping the cold draft from coming in through the attic door and old windows. I will be buying a few more rolls to keep on hand!

I have windows where the heat of the afternoon is unbearable. I placed window insulation (silver) shades over the window and used this tape to hold it in place. I like that this tape does not get tangled up easily. It goes on really well and I have removed it to realign it with no problems. The one weather thing that didn't work with the tape was heat. When the heat hits the window, the tape does not stick to the window to hold the shade in place. The shades are not falling off the window but they are not flat against the window as I taped them. I do like this tape better than other tapes I've tried because it does not leave glue residue. I would purchase this tape again.

For sealing I thought the tape would be somewhat removable. I don't always want to use "Blue" tape. This tape is not removable. It's like the clear tape used for postal packages. Really sticky. Very sticky. It cannot be removed. So sealing around a window air conditioner will be permanent. Except, we take out a/c's for the winter and store away. Not easy to remove without ripping wall and wallpaper or paint.

This tape is good for use around window or portable air conditioning units to seal the small gaps where air might escape. Easy to use and appears to hold well.

This stuff sticks like crazy and will actually come off in the spring time. While I was building my house I stayed in campers and sealed the windows every winter with this stuff. Its an awesome product. I live in a high wind are in Colorado. It saw 100 mph+ winds and held tight. Like me inside the camper!

Works really well on our Georgian sash windows to keep draft out. Our house now holds the heat much better. Great quality, and good amount for the money. Not quite as sticky as I would like, but that may just be to do with the paint on our windows. Would absolutely recommend.
