Lock Stock & Barrel Ruck Matte Putty For Men 100 g

This product has great hold that lasts all day without looking greasy. The matte finish really works. I suppose it is meant to be a "manly" smell but I think it is just crisp and clean.

I don't usually write reviews but I just couldn't ignore this product. I'll begin with saying that I spike up my hair and it is really thick. That being said I have tried pretty much every hair product out there (fibers,pomades,and waxes) all from the big named companies like crew, dfi, and paul Mitchell. Lock stock and barrel takes the cake even with my thick hair you barley need any product to get that out of bed look. It is very matte and provides absolutely no shine where every product (even high end waxes) can't seem to get that right. Great hold, matte look, and smells great but it isn't really strong smelling for those that don't like it. Best product I have used hands down!!

Great hold. Washes out easily with just water yet hold all day. Wish the scent was a little more neutral but other than that great stuff

This seems to work best when my hair is damp vs. dry. When used on dry hair, it gums up and is difficult to work in ( at least for me - coarse, thick lumpy hair). But when used on damp hair before I blow dry- it's a good styling product. I still have to use another product after drying tho to finish - usually another creme or clay.

Non-greasy, water soluble, "paste" which when applied lightly holds thinning hair in place. Better than anything else I've tried.

Great hold, and a very nice, yet subtle scent. Requires very little product to get great hold, and it lasts all day for me. I have very coarse hair, so if yours is fine, I am not sure how it will compare.I have the shampoo from these guys as well, and recommend that too.

The lock stock and barrel ruck Is amazing I have used it for 5 years. The downside is that it's soft and creamy at the salon and this last time I ordered off amaZon it was hard and the other jar was clumpy not at all like I've been buying it for the last 5 years so it has to be there old stock I mixed water in and thinned it down to work nicely! Basically saying great product but don't order from amazon as this will be my last order!

I replaced Crews Fiber for this and it is by far a lot better. I have been using this in my hair for years and it works great. You just need to learn the correct amount of product to water droplets for the length of your hair. Plus my wife likes the smell of this one.

unique and perfect texture, cool scent

I've been using this product for maybe around 5 years now. It's my all time favourite. I have mid length thick high volume Asian hair, and I'm a big fan of the hair wax with matte finish. The LSB Ruck is one of the few products that can consistently hold my hair throughout the day, and this is the cheapest of them all, so for sure I'll keep using it. I like mixing the LSB Ruck with Reuzel green tin pomade at a 1:1 or 1.5:1 (more LSB Ruck), it gives my hair a very nice and lasting shine because the Reuzel green tin is oil based and LSB isn't, and LSB has stronger hold but Reuzel green tin has average hold. So these two together is perfect for me.The only problem I heard other people have with this is that Amazon ships out very old stock and they don't smell fresh. This is true. The LSB Ruck you buy here don't smell as good as the brand new one, but who cares lol, it's the same stuff, it gets the job done.

I got athis along with a few more LSB products from Mens Fitness magazine offer and must say its fantastic stuff, smells great and makes your hair look amazing and stays in place well to.Although I got this as a magazine freebie, once its gone I shall be investing in some more.Ive used lots of different more expensive products in the past and this comes out top of the pile.

I'm very picky about my hair products. This one is superb! Great texture that doesn't damage or strip nutrients out of your hair in any way. It's the perfect amount of hold while still looking natural. Their whole line is great but this works best for the look and my specific hair (oily and thin).

Really good product, I used to use "di-fi" but I have really thick hair and I was going for a dry slick black, this stuff is really strong and also smells really good, I would recommend for thin and thick hair :)!To get the best out of any product always "blow" dry your hair with a hair dryer, and dry it in the direction that you want it to sit in, then add about a pea size (you can add more) to your hair, make sure product goes all around the hair that will allow your hair to get the best strength from the putty :)!
