These socks are awesome! I have several pairs of thes and I wear them all winter long Instead of slippers. They are durable and wash well. I wash them in the washer but I hang them to dry. They protect from slipping on hard floors and they keep my feet toasty warm. These are super thick and insulate well from cold floors and drafts. They aren't made to wear with shoes although I sometimes wear them with oversized rubber boots to keep my feet warm. They aren't binding at all which causes them to remain in my boots, but that is because that isn't the intended use. I recommend these to anyone who is looking for warmth and comfort in a non-slip sock.UPDATE: Since the Covid-19 hit, and I am a vulnerable person staying home except for medical appointments that can't be done with Telehealth, these socks I have renamed them my "Covid Shoes". I wear them all the time except when I have to go out and I recently bought more so I can always have a clean pair. I had several pairs of slightly less expensive socks which I had purchased before I found these, but although the pictures are similar, they didn't didn't stand up to washing like these do and weren't as soft and comfortable to begin with. They didn't last through the first month of the shutdown, although my original pair of these particular socks are still in use and just as comfortable as ever as ever. I have sent these as a gift to a friend who needed a little extra comfort at the time and she loves them too. I won't waste my money on similar non slip socks since I have seen the difference between them myself. I wish I could give these socks an extra star for durability and lasting comfort because none of the others I have tried held up to heavy use and multiple washings, but 5 stars is the best rating available. I don't usually update reviews unless an item isn't as durable as I first thought, but these socks deserve an update for being better than I expected over time. If you are looking for comfortable non slip socks, I highly recommend these.

The socks are amazingly soft, and stay comfortably up on the shins. They look cute. However, they are really just for people laying in bed all day. I can feel everything through the bottom of the socks, including the plastic gripper dots. I walk around the house all day in socks, since we do not wear shoes in the house do this design does not work well for me. Using slipper socks was an experiment, and this design failed. Slipper socks with soles or padding on the bottom of the feet would work. In the meantime, I will continue using my thick oversized winter wool socks around the house. They cushion better, and hold up very well.

I'm a little disappointed in these socks. They're cute and it's nice having the stuff on the bottom to make then slip-free, and they are soft enough. I probably have a true medium width foot -- size 7 shoe generally fits me perfectly -- and these socks are a snugger fit than I expected. I also expected them to be a little thicker, to have a bit more substance. They're "pretty good," is really the best I can say. I'm keeping them, but won't be ordering another pair.

Socks were shipped packed in a business logo-printed zip-lock bag, which is a nice gesture for storage during summer months. Winter fleece socks are made like a heavy slipper boot. Fabric with lining is approximately half an inch thick ([1.27 centimeters]. Socks have some, but not an overload of grippers on bottom, appropriate for adults. Fleece lining is a comfortable and very warm edition for cold climates. Socks are light-weight and dense - perfect combination to insulate against cold. One could wear 100% cotton lightweight crew socks under these for skiing and be very warm and comfortable. Fleece is similar in quality to super-soft weaves found with many throws at chain department stores. Easy-care, synthetic fabric for washing in gentle loads, with color-safe bleach. Fleece appears to be finely-shredded, plastic fiber-based carbon-containing compound, which may be a problem for those concerned with environmental issues in CA. May be some cotton woven into outer layer. Seems are well-sewn which suggest socks will last for a long time.

Ordering these socks was risky because I wear size 10.5. I was delighted to find that they are stretchy enough to fit my big feet very comfortably.I love them! I sleep in them because they are so cozy, and I usually have to get up for the bathroom at least once a night. No danger of slipping or freezing my feet. I also wear them around the house when I first get up. I have already sent some off to a few people for gifts. And I bought a second pair, might even get a third. I will want to wear them all through the winter--even in Los Angeles. The nights do get cool here. The socks are warm, but not hot.Obviously, I highly recommend these. (Have not washed them yet, but assume from other reviewers that they come out fine.)

From what I saw & read, I thought these would be super warm. The insides are soft, but also sheds. I have a compromised lymphatic system due to nerve damage. My one foot is always cold at night. I wore these to bed but both feet were still cold. I had to swap them out for a pair of Acorn socks instead (which did keep my feet warm) in order to fall asleep. My calves are also quite large from walking being my primary exercise, and I had to roll the tops down (as seen in the pic), for better comfort. The design is beautiful. These socks may be warm enough for others, but they just didn’t cut it for me.

These fit great (I am usually size 7.5 in shoes) and are incredibly comfy! The pattern and color are beautiful and the fleece lining is incredibly soft. I just got back from hours of mall walking and these feel like a vacation for my feet. These are also quite warm and super cute. I highly recommend!
