Woven Workz 051-073 Betsy Throw, Full, Caramel

Quick shipping. A bit expensive for the thickness of the throw but the colors are beautiful. The orange in the pic is a bit more of a rust /sienna; colors are not as vibrant as pic shows but overall colors are deep and rich. Soft and luxurious feeling but I would have liked the weave to be thicker.

Just adding a note to my old review. This is a heavy throw. It is warm but not too hot like fleece. I have the Fall color. It has lovely earth-tones. Love having several colors. Makes it look very interesting and easy to blend. I'm going to order a set in other colors for another room.Has held up wonderfully for my family which includes 2 dogs, which means frequent washings. Giving five stars even though I returned it! I purchased the carmel color thinking it would be very close to the carmel color in the Woven Workz Michelle throw, but they were quite different. This is a large, heavy beautiful throw. The Michelle has a more formal fabric, with a lot of sheen (what works in my living room.) The Betsy has the flexability to be more casual. I should have just heeded the opinion of the previous reviewer who said the actual product was just too orange. I just would prefer colors a bit more neutral in the family room, and will buy a different color. I was looking for this throw for several years. Turned to Amazon and sure enough, found what I wanted. I bought a throw like this in blues and creams 6 or 7 years ago in a home goods store. Didn't know the brand because I cut off the tags. It stood up to the dogs and the kids beautifully. Got rid of the blue couches several years ago and have been looking for thows like this in other colors since. I prefer the multicolor to a solid because it is easier to blend with the colors in a room, create interest, and hide lint. I was actually surprised to see how thick this throw was, considering the price which I paid.

Love the color (got the green color, which is like a cross between lime green and pea soup green) and it is a nice way to add some texture to the living room by draping the throw over the back of the couch, then adding a few throw pillows. Instantly dressy living room. It is heavy, but not thick. That is, it is a heavy/knobby sort of texture, but some places in the fabric are so thin that you can see through it. But my biggest concern is that is smells like a chemical/industrial plant of some sort. Maybe like petroleum? It made the whole room smell after one night of hanging out on the couch. I washed it per the directions and used a scented laundry soap and scented fabric softener and it still smells awful.

This is a beautiful and substantial throw at a very good price. However, it has a very disturbing and unpleasant chemical smell, like a previous customer said. I've smelled this smell on some jeans that I have bought also, which maybe were foreign made? I bought two of these that were hanging in a local store, and they did not have the chemical smell. I am assuming that it is because it was new in the package, and that it will dissipate. It bugs me though, because I am very health conscious. It won't be going on the bed until the smell is gone!

I paid $127 for 2 couch throws. Normally I don't pay over $30 a piece. I went by previous reviews. I agree that the color is nicer than pictured and the are soft and heavy enough to be actually warm. The balls and the fringe concern me for washing but others have not expressed a problem so I will just wash gentle to be safe. I am going to not share with doggy so washings should be rare. The cats are too old to care about fringes anymore so these blankets should be safe at their new home. They really are pretty. I have a drab, old couch and they perk it up :) I was already to send them back if they weren't really nice because the price is a lot for me but they are keepers. My blankie search is done. Onto the next "issue"

This is the best blanket ever. It is so soft & warm, and the texture has a great feel to it. I love the way this blanket is weaved; it creates an interesting pattern. Everyone in our family knows that this is MOM'S BLANKET :-). I have a cream one just like this one that I've had for nearly 4 years. I throw it in the washer and dryer about once a month. It just keeps getting better wash after wash! I'm amazed at how well it holds up! This new Fall Colored one is beautiful, and I expect it to hold up just as well as my older cream colored one.

I'm thrilled with these throws! I ordered 2 in cream and the are just as pictured, and look gorgeous on my brown leather couches. I went ahead and washed them in a laundry net, and they seemed to hold up well. I put them directly into the dryer without the net. Not sure how well they'll hold up to repeated washings as this is a pretty loose weave (or how it will hold up to my curious toddler's fingers, but so far so good. I did not find any sheddings from the throws in my dryer, and they have not shed while on display in my living room. They are pleasantly soft, cozy, and warm, too.
