How do you separate the magnets?

i canʻt open the batch i received - the silicone ends are fused together. not the magnets, there are a few loose ones so i can tell itʻs not that they are crazy strong magnets, but the silicone itself is just one big mass. sent them back for a replacement which is hopefully useable.

I imagine they mean any metal as in any metal that has magnetic properties iron, nickel, cobalt, gadolinium, dysprosium and alloys such as steel. They probably assume most people know that copper, carbon, gold, silver, lead, bismuth, and alloys with a blending of these have a weak or resistant magnetic field.

Are these safe to use near laptops, cell phones and credit cards?

They could demagnetize credit cards; anything with a magnetic strip. That should be the only issue to avoid, since they are weak magnets.

Are these magnets safe in close proximity to computers/smartphones/gaming consoles, since they're much stronger than typical fridge magnets?

Have used them close to my iphone and ipad with no apparent damage.
