The Borbone beans are 85% arabica and 15% robusta . The ground coffee is 50% arabica and 50% robusta .

How does this compare to Grande Italia miscela bar?

I prefer Borbone to Grand Italia. Grand Italia makes a good espresso, but it doesn't make my taste buds dance the way that Borbone does.

What is the difference between the red and blue bags?

I believe the red bag is all Robusto beans while the blue bag contains Robusto and Arabica beans. I'm not sure of this. I've ordered only one bag of Borbone, called Miscela Top, and it is silver. It makes an excellent espresso.

What type of coffee machine is the coffee ground for?

This coffee is espresso coffee. We use it in our Saeco Espresso machine which grinds the whole beans for us. I hope this helps.
