My dracaena trifasciata (snake plant) reliably throws out 2-3 new leaves every winter instead of summer because I don’t know. It was already under another grow lightbulb and was starting to grow its first leaf of the season…fast forward two weeks, and where one leaf was growing, a second has started (already the same size as the initial leaf), and on another rosette yet another blade has popped up. So I’m getting three leaves ASAP instead of waiting 4-5 months under its usual light. That’s likes warp speed for my plant of five years.Pros:-Probably is a broader spectrum as advertised-Light shines down/180 degrees from bulb instead of bottom and sides/270 degrees, so it’s less blinding by itself-Warmer light rather than cooler light looks “sunnier”Cons:-Heftier than expected, so I upgraded my pendant light hooks to accommodate-Three times more expensive than my previous grow lights (but I’m growing 3x the leaves?)-Tried it in a few fixtures thought the house out of curiosity, and it’s length made it stick out of most shadesOverall I like the look an performance of this light in my space.

I’ve tried many of the other most common grow bulbs out there and this one is by far superior. I’m actually seeing a ton of new growth on my plants and the color of the bulb is perfectly warm. I’m working on switching all my other bulbs to this one because it just doesn’t compare.

If you have been burned (or undercooked) by other grow lights, this is the answer. I tried several other cheap bulbs. But when I switched to these, my plants were so happy. I couldn't imagine going back to the cheap knock off.

Not sure of the the durability since I just got this light bulb. But so far my plants are loving it!A little expensive though.

I purchased this bulb to ad some extra light to plants I have in my living room. It arrived and I installed it mid February 2022. My living room has no built in lights so it is set up on a dedicated smart switch to turn on at 6 am and off at 9 pm daily. The bulb burnt out at the end of June 2022. The listing indicates an average of 30,000 hours of bulb life. I am bad at math but I don’t think I got anywhere near that number. I used it for 15 hours a day. 15 hrs x 30 days = 450 hours/month. Generously, I’m saying I used it for 5 months. 5 month x 450 hours = 2,250. So I got 7.5% the advertised average hours of use out of this bulb. That’s pretty bad and so far away from the average I don’t think it’s reasonable.I would not buy this bulb again. It’s not worth it. I can’t speak to whether it’s good or not, I have two other bulbs in the vicinity next to it so I couldn’t tell you if it is better or worse than the cheap grow lights. It is on the warm end on the white color spectrum than the other plant lights.
