Greed: (a Matt Browning novel): a deadly, adrenalin-fuelled thriller from multi-bestselling author Chris Ryan Paperback – 27 May 2004

A good thriller...fast and pacy. Climax is a bit lengthy. Suspense was predictable. But overall must read category.

Love the show Strike Back and as soon as I found out what the show was based on, I had to get Mr. Ryan's books! I love the books just as much as the series. Mr. Ryan's books are just as exciting as the show.

Dieses Buch ist ein absoluter page-turner. Der Plot ist schon aussergewöhnlich, eng an die aktuelle Terrorbedrohung angelehnt und sehr realistisch geschrieben, offensichtlich unter Verwendung von Detailkenntnissen der Lage, wie sie nicht in den Medien geschildert wird. Greed gehört zu den besten Thrillern, die ich in den letzten Jahren gelesen habe, es gehört in eine Reihe mit Andy McNabs Liberation Day, oder Crisis Four oder Remote Control. Das Buch ist hochspannend u. mitreissend geschrieben, ich wette, dass kein Leser mehr als 2 Tage benötigt, weil man einfach nicht aufhören kann. Fazit: Unbedingtempfehlenswert !

Another Great Read from Chris Ryan

If you're a fan of Chris Ryan you'll probably like it. This was my first (and last). The plot involves a group of ex-SAS stealing from AQ, then being pursued by an AQ hitman. It takes quite a long time to get around to the actual heist, by which time (by a process of elimination) it's very obvious who's grassing the team up to AQ. Without plot-spoiling, it's also fairly obvious which of the team saves the day. Although it seems to be trendy nowadays (on TV, film, street etc), I see no object in the constant foul language. The book moves along OK, but then so does Clive Cussler's stuff - without the swearing. Not a keeper for me, I'm afraid.
