Excellent book
The speciality of his book is numbers, which is backward counting. The more the child reads he gets used to counting backwards. Could improve on pronunciation with Rhyming words like, Whoosh, sploosh, chomp, snap squak...

Pirate - tastic Board Book ☠️
This is another great book in the ‘Ten Little...’ range and is ideal for teaching children numbers 1 - 10. There are ten little pirates at the beginning of the story, on each page one gets taken away. For example "Nine little Pirates searching for their mate. Zap! goes the lightning - now there are .... eight". All the pirates are washed up to an Island together at the end.Numbers are written out in the text but also in number form on each page, therefore giving lots of opportunities for children to practice the numbers. The book is really fun to read as it uses a lot of rhyming words. The cartoon images on each page are beautiful, eye-catching, bright and colourful. This book is a massive hit with my daughter. A 5⭐️ read.

Great childrens rhyming book with lovely pictures
Definitely a favourite in our house, my three live this book from the "ten little" series. Colours are bright and vivid, pictures are cute and interesting. Very entertaining for 2, 3 & 5 year olds, great for helping learn numbers and recognising numbers. Rhyming is great too.

Not as good as dinosaurs or princesses
Generally just OK. Not as fun as other books in the series and seems a bit forced in places. Easy to rattle through (unlike superheroes which is an effort) but just lacking something. Inoffensive and good for counting but I wouldn't replace it if it got lost or damaged.

Love this range of books
My 5 year old daughter loves the 'ten little' books range so she was very excited to read this. She now has all of the books from this range and she loves each and every one. Nice books for her to practice her counting from 10-1 too and she absolutely loves the illustrations. I think her favourite is still the superhero one but they are all fun and she is always excited to see a new one. We have read this one at least 10 times already
