Calphalon 1932442 Classic Nonstick All Purpose Pan with Cover, 12-Inch, Grey

Didn't realize how big this would be. It's a really great pan. Easy to clean cooks evenly great quality as expected. Calphalon is a trusted brand for me worth the extra. I will be on the lookout for this exact style but in perhaps a 10" version. This 12" doesn't want to stow away with my other pans. I still love it 😀

I love this pan! I have the one with the lower sides, but it’s too small for using as a wok. I returned the wok I bought, as it was too big, especially with the long handle! Unwieldily to handle, wash and store. This pan is lightweight and is great for cooking Chinese dishes and all others! Easy cleaning as well, as it fits in my standard size sink! And no pre-seasoning required!Great price and quality!

Great cookware. The handles do get a bit hot, but there isn’t a big long handle getting in the way when I have a few things cooking. Heavy duty and high quality. Recommend!

Good skillet. Second time I've bought this brand. It is deep and wide.....I use mine almost like a wok for stir-fry, to sear meats, etc. The only thing I did not anticipate was the metal handles. Handy for maneuvering the pot when cool, but useless when the pot is hot. We have a gas stove and I fear using a pot holder while the flame is going. Still, I wouldn't give it back. I wore out the similar skillet with the single long handle and am sure I'll wear this one out as well!

This pan was just what I wanted. The sides are five inches high so you won’t tend to slop things you are cooking onto the cook top. It can double for a small wok and it came with a nice glass top. I am worried about the thickness. The walls are very thin and the pan is light weight. I have doubts about how well it will hold up. It was only $60, so it wouldn’t be a big loss if it only lasted two or three years…….Well it’s been three years and this versatile pan is still going strong. The light weight of the pan has been a blessing instead of a curse. We even gave one as a gift and they use the pan more than we do. It is still very non stick, but we are careful with it. Only wood or silicone spatulas are used. Added one more star to give it five.

I’ve had this 12” pan with lid for about 4 years now. I love that it’s larger and deeper, so I use it for soups and recipes that make larger quantities. The only thing I wish it had was rubber or a heat protector on the handles and lid. But it’s definitely not a deal breaker. Would just be more convenient with that feature. I would recommend this 12” pan with lid.

I've been using Caphalon pans for years. Never disappointed.

OUr first one we wore out and I use it for the grill now. We use the heck out of this pan because its over proof. We just put ribs in it the other day browned them a little on the stove, added some water for steam and put them in the over for like two hours. Added sliced protatoes one hour before they are done and a can of baked beans on top of the potatoes and when its done you got your whole meal. Riibs, potatoes, beans,Okay now I'm hungry.Seriously this is easy to clean, the handles dont melt, its just a very versatile pot. I think its five or six quart?

I really like this pan for everyday use. The lack of a long handle makes it easier to store and easier to fit in my sink to soak. The weight is enough to ensure even browning of meat without having to lug out a cast iron fry pan for basic tasks. I use this to brown ground beef or chicken breasts, fry onions and other vegetables and make casseroles. It is deep enough that most sauces fit with ease into the pan. And if you want to melt cheese over a casserole, this can pop into the oven. I like the glass lid so that I can see if something starts to boil too fast. This is my second one of these. I cook a lot and the non-scratch coating did start to go after about five years, though I suspect that is because I have let the pan get too hot a few times. But given the almost daily use, I got my money's worth out of this pot.

Great to go in oven and on stove top. Big enough for a big stew.

Si bien es un poco pesado y para estufas pequeñas puede ser un poco estorboso para usar con otras ollas o sartenes, es excelente, no uso nada de aceite, la tapa embona perfectamente y se puede usar para hornear tartas, es fácil de lavar (lo hago a mano y con una esponja que no dañe la superficie , sin embargo no se raya con tanta facilidad como los de Teflon) vale la pena definitivamente.

I love this pan! While it's light weight and easy to handle, the lid is heavy and stays put AND it's great in the oven! The shape makes it perfect for stir fry and for my family it's just the right size for casseroles. I've only had it a couple of weeks but already it's my 'go to' pan. It's a dream to clean, all foods including oven baked Mac & Cheese just slide right out. I'll buy more pans from this manufacturer when the need arises.
