This is one of our most important kitchen tools!It helps tremendously with speeding up the washing of the many vegetables and fruits we eat and juice. First I let them go through a rinsing bath on one side of the sink in a big flat box to get most of the earth and sand off, and then I let them through the Ultasonic Ozonator. It also helps to keep the produce longer, since it eliminates molds and all the other dangerous germs and everything in our fridge is ready to eat now!It relieves me of countless hours of standing and scrubbing veggies.It also can be used as a quick in between dish-washer.It fits inside an average sink, but I would not do that because of the electricity. We have it sitting on top right next to it, with the draining hose conveniently tucked over the left basin rim for drainage. I fill it with the side sprayer which I have fitted with a sliding wire ring so it stays on for filling so I have not to hold it all the time.One other very important thing is a fan (or two, left and right) to blow the ozone which is produced out the window - because it would be not good for your lungs ( or you leave the room for the operating minutes)...our fan setup works perfect - I can still do the other chores next by.I was searching a lot for a vegetable washer which can do both, and saw some advertisement from Japan, where it was built-in in the stainless sink, which I thought that would be great, except not existing here.One more feature would perfect the washing task (wishful thinking): an inside moving basket, that moves the produce also while being washed - but we are very happy with what we have in this machine here! It performs so far great - using it daily since approximately a monthUpdate January 2019:still using it nearly daily, performs great....just had to find another hose, which was not easy, had to cut it to leave the outlet piece at the machine site connected and then connected it to another hose going to the sink

Very weak user manual. Very weak. No info on manufacturer. Almost like they are hiding something. Delivered without drain stop. Don't know how to contact manufacturer. Very unhappy. Probably going back.

Definitely makes my produce last longer, very easy to use, and big enough to hold a lot of fruit/veggies at once. I am very happy I purchased it!

The unit stopped working after 13 months.I bought this after months of reviewing peer reviewed articles comparing the effectiveness of different methods for removing pesticides from produce. Ultrasound appears to be a very effective cleaning mode. Since I eat 5 to 6 pounds of produce daily washing it by hand was a huge hassle and I had no intention of spending $2 a pound or more for overpriced organic produce making this product a vital part of my health regime.The visible residue left in the water and pronounced color change after washing strawberries indicates that the device is removing something. While I was initially concerned about ozone release into the kitchen, due to my asthma, the amount is so small that I did not find this to be an issue. If you are concerned you can leave the lid on for 5 or 10 minutes longer and allow the ozone to disassociate. Ozone is highly reactive so it doesn't remain around very long.As far as not providing instructions. I run the vegetable cleaning mode for its longest time period, 9 minutes to feel confident that I am making a significant impact on removing nasty stuff on my produce.

It leaks all over the place. We are returning this product as it is defective.Do not purchase this product as it is expensive but poorly made.
