Bought two of these for a trip to Europe for me and my husband. One worked beautifully, the other seems to have a hole in it and deflated gradually over time. Neither seemed to have enough volume to really support our head and neck for the type of airplane seats we had. We are both rather thin, so not a lot of us to fill up the space at the neck of the pillow.

When I travel on an airplane, I am always a bit anxious and stressed to begin with, and the cramped seats and crying babies just exacerbate the situation for me. I needed to find a way to relax and unwind, and I do not trust the dirty pillows provided by the airline. Since carrying around my own pillow would take up too much space, I sought out an inflatable option and came across the “Wowje Inflatable Travel with Head and Neck Support.” It seemed like the ideal solution to my needs, so I ordered one.Unlike the memory foam neck pillow, the inflatable one arrives completely flat. It is easy to put into my purse or in my pocket when not in use. When I need to blow it up, the neck pillow inflates very quickly and easily. It's quite small so it does not require much air to fill it up. The firmness of the inflatable pillow is easily adjusted to suit the user's needs. You simply just fill it with more air if you prefer a firmer pillow, or less if you prefer a soft one.This pillow stores easily and it is light and compact. If you are someone who packs a lot when you travel, this is a great way to help you free up some space. It hardly takes up any room at all! The pillow feels comfortable on my neck, and I do think I would be able to easily fall asleep while using it. This is a great item to take on planes or other forms of transportation where you are a passenger. I am very satisfied with the pillow. I've been looking and looking for that special travel pillow to put an end to the search... this may be it.This thing is fantastic. It is extremely, extremely soft... so so so soft, and the thickness aspect is great as you can just sort of sink into it. The cover zips off so you could, theoretically, take it out and wash the cover if you needed to. And, it's solid memory foam, not shredded, so it is going to hold its shape. I'm very very pleased. Now, there is a downside, just one that I've found. My wife took mine. Yeah, she likes it too... just fantastic:)I do love it. The wowje memory foam travel pillow has a soft material that doesn't irritate. So far I’m enjoying it while at home on my couch but I look forward to putting it to the test on a real flight in the future. The pillow itself is firm and holds its shape while still allowing the head and neck to contour comfortably. It is soft and really molds to my neck and I feel much less neck strain as a result. I also like the interlocking front closure! It keeps the sleeping head from bobbing through the "opening" in front, and thus prevents neck strain. You can take the covering off to wash and keep the velour-like covering. Get this pillow if you are going to take a long trip overseas. One suggestion is to make is that make sure you let the pillow air out before you use it. I do this for all my memory foam pillows to get rid of the "smell" from new foam products. The pillow broke within 5 minutes. Air escaped making it flat and useless. Thrown away on the airplane. Waste of money.

I've attempted to use this headrest 3-4 times now. It starts off comfortable, but it partially deflates after about 30 minutes. This is either poor design or there must have been a slow leak in my unit. Either way, it's unfortunate, because the compactness of this item is much preferred over other headrests available at airports.
