Q: how many faces will it paint?

We used this for a church fall festival. I bought 2 packages, and we had 6 people painting. We had 300 people come through, and I would say half (150 or so) had their faces painted (not full face, but some quarter face projects.) We had enough left over to do this year's festival. Not as many people, but we painted probably 80 faces, but many wanted "full face" designs, which uses much more paint. We were running out of the white. This kit goes a long way.

Q: Does this kit contain templates or suggested patterns to paint?

It contains a small booklet; six designs each for boys, girls, and halloween. The photos are small and directions are very sparse. There are no templates, so I'd recommend buying a book or watching videos before taking on a face painting project.

Q: Help! I can't tell what all pictures are in the book. I see mostly full face designs. Does the book show how to do smaller cheek designs?

I'm pretty sure the book was full face designs but they're pretty easy. Pinterest has a lot of ideas for cheek art that I use!
