Good product! Works as advertised for fresh, spreadable butter every time.
We were tired of buying tubs of whipped butter but finding that even it did not spread very well. (And isn't that the point of whipped butter?) The Butter Bell allows us to soften a stick of butter, spread it into the top portion of the bell, turn it upside down and store it in cold water (change every 2-3 days) in the bottom part of the bell. This gives us fresh, soft, spreadable butter every time. The crock itself if easy to wash, fill and use. This solved our problem! I would buy this as again and recommend it to friends and family.

Love it! Love it!
First time I saw a Butter Bell Crock was at my brother's home in Idaho while we were out visiting them this past summer. His wife has one and as soon as I saw it, I knew I had to have one. We went to the store that she got theirs, but they didn't have anymore, I told her that's ok, I was looking online in Amazon and they have them. As soon as I got home, I ordered mine. I love my butter bell crock!!!

Surprise...Butter floats(^;
More than a few times the butter has fallen out of the bell into the water, even though i keep the butter in a cool area in the kitchen.There needs to be a design change in the mold used for the "bell" part of the crock. Perhaps a slightly corrugated/ridged bell interior so that the butter will be held in place better than with the smooth surface with which it is made.

OMG where have you been my whole life.
This crock is NO "crock of Bull" ! Absolutely awesome. I first saw it on VAT19.com but didn't like the color so we found one on here we liked. We think we're going to buy a second one so we always have 1 ready to use. seems since we have soft butter in house we eat more things that we put butter on so we use more. greatest thing since " sliced bread" sorry couldn't help it.

Works just like stated. When the bell is full with butter, yes the butter gets wet. But as you use the butter it no longer gets wet.

ha ha a little humor. all jokes aside, this is a great little butter crock. At first I didn't understand how it could keep butter fresh until I see the butter stands in the water. Works great. butter stays soft and ready to use. great purchase and would recommend to anyone who uses butter frequently.

Useful AND decorative !
Love, love, love this ! At last, soft butter any time I want some, kept in a pretty crock. I gave this as a gift to three others and had to order another one for someone who got his nose out of joint because "he" wasn't one of the recipients!

This works as expected. Great product. My only suggestion would be to have a small line on the inside to mark how much water should go in. Then it would be perfect!
