Light years ahead of the flimsy types with plastic handle screws. You know as soon as you remove this from the box that it is right. It feels well made and solid. The wall bracket removes very easily if you want to base it on the floor, which I did. I like that the inner can be removed for cleaning and that the lower half of the brush can be replaced at very reasonable cost (currently £8.50 on Amazon). The handle screw is metal so will last and not deform and go slack like a lot of plastic ones do. A definite thumbs up from me.

I bought a 'white' version of the toilet brush and holder and as another reviewer said, this is an off white/cream colour. Sat next to the porcelain of the toilet, or a Brabantia newIcon pedal bin, it's quite different which is disappointing. Also, if you are wondering what's with the black base in the pictures - this is part of the wall mount plastic bracket, and if you want to use it as a free standing item, then the whole black plastic bit at the bottom just un-clips. Other than the poor colour match it is a great product.

I love these toilet brushes as they come in several finishes from shiny stainless to matt or white/black coated. They are nice looking, sturdy, easy to keep clean and the brush is black... perfect colour for cleaning toilets! The heads last ages and you can get replacements too. You may think they're initially expensive, but long term they are great value. I've had mine years and they still look great. Highly recommended

Bought two of these monoliths. They are solid objects encased in metal. The brush is tough and dark coloured which is helpful, and it works as its supposed to. Design avoids drips which is also helpful. You can of course buy cheaper but this is well designed for its purpose and will look like new for a long time to come whilst it continues to fulfil its duties.

I bought this toilet brush in January for around 39 pounds - It is very good sturdy and smartI have now come to repurchase for other bathrooms and found the price has doubled to 83 pounds!I can only assume it is now made of unicorn horn with bristles from Dumbledore's beard - unbelievable
