Grew up seeing this movie so it was a no brainer. 90s bby :)

Its just a great movie filled with fun and adventure

Don Bluth and Gary Goldman’s 2000 animated film, “Titan A.E.”, focuses on Cale Tucker (Matt Damon), who receives a message to protect the ship Titan, which has the ability to create a new planet following the destruction of Earth by an alien species. In the course of his mission, Tucker meets Captain Joseph Korso (Bill Pulman) and his crew, Gune (John Leguizamo), Preed (Natan Lane), Stith (Janeane Garofalo), and Akima Kunimoto (Drew Barrymore). The film combines traditional 2D hand-drawn animation with computer animation. The film is a beautiful work, exactly what one would expect from the great Don Bluth. It’s also part of a unique era in animation right around the turn of the millennium, where films began experimenting with style or blending styles, leading to works like “Titan A.E.,” as well as “Atlantis: The Lost Empire” and “Treasure Planet” from Disney. These films were all ahead of their time and are worthy of appreciation not only for what they created but for their place in animation history. Unfortunately, “Shrek” came out in 2001 and changed what people expected of animated films for half a decade.

Great movie, saw it years ago, gifted it.

While some of the things in this movie make zero sense, it's not the worst movie I have seen. But the ending looks like it was rushed. Animation itself is great. Just wish this was a physical BR and not a digital streaming only file that will one day vanish never to be seen again. But it was only $3 so I's no biggie.

This was a movie my husband and I watched on a date night shortly after we met. The DVD was lost in a move over 15 years ago so bought this. As great and the first time watching it. My husband who is a sound and light buff (highly trained - used to do high end home theatre installations and calibrations) said the picture on this version was better than the DVD. And he said that is saying something since the DVD player and gold cable connecters something something - I did not understand it all - is the best on the market and the DVD player improves images off older DVD. So if you are on the fence for this movie just buy it, you won't regret it.

Great story, Great characters. Yeah, it might of cost the studio so much that they stopped making animated movies after this one didn't do as good as it should have, but it's a great movie with cool animations.My only complaint is I can't find in in Bluray or 4K UHD Bluray.

Uno dei film di animazione per me,più belli. Purtroppo passato in sordina ai tempi ed ora poco conosciuto e sottovalutato. Una storia classica,ma ben scritta e con il giusto mix tra leggerezza e profondità. Consigliato a chiunque ami la fantascienza;ma anche a chi solo ami i bei film.

El DVD ha llegado en el plazo previsto, y en perfecto estado pese a ser de segunda mano. La única pega, que no es la película original, si no un DVD perteneciente a alguna colección, con una caratula distinta. No es un problema, pero no lo esperaba. Quitando eso, todo perfecto.

Envoi rapide et bien emballé.Quel plaisir de revoir ce dessin animé cher à mon enfance, réalisé par l'équipe de Poucelina et Anastasia ! Je ne comprends toujours pas pourquoi le film à fait un flop alors qu'il avait tous les ingrédients pour fonctionner : un scénario SF bien ficellé, des personnages attachants, une super musique, et des graphismes tops pour l'époque -aujourd'hui, certaines animations ont mal vieillies je l'accorde-.Merci pour ce moment de nostalgie !

Ottimo cartone animato sci-fi, sia dal punto di vista tecnico che artistico. Non adatto a bambini piccoli risulta invece godibile anche da parte degli adulti. Alieni distruggono la Terra e gli umani, uniti, cercano il loro futuro tra le stelle. Mi rammarica il fatto che purtroppo non esista ancora la versione in blu ray, visivamente lo meriterebbe. DA AVERE.
