The book gave sone solid advice. Even stuff we think we know is better when reinforced. And some great new, thought provoking concepts. Definitely should be read by prospective and current franchisees, and franchisors!

As an accounting professional I work closely with both franchisees and franchisors. I found this book to be very informative and a useful tool to advise my clients in this arena. The book is easy to read and the real-life stories kept me engaged. What I think my franchise clients will appreciate most is that this book differentiates between "getting by" and becoming a leader in the industry. Also, it is nice to hear from someone that lived the experience rather than picked up what they know from a textbook our course.

Scott Greenberg hit a homerun with this step by step guide to becoming a successful and wealthy franchisee. Scott, as referenced in the introduction, spoke at our annual Outdoor Living Brands annual meeting and caught on to a topic that had eluded many, if not all, of us .... is there an algorithm for predicting a top-performing franchisee vs. an average or below-average franchisee? As a founder of a rapidly expanding outdoor services franchise (Conserva Irrigation) and as a franchisee of two additional brands (Mosquito Squad and Outdoor Lighting Perspectives) I have been in search of answers to Scott's very question.... is there a way to predict success? I found this book to be a page turner and I couldn't get thru it fast enough. Now I study it and refer to it consistently. I sent a copy to all 75 of our franchisees and will be using it as a discussion topic and our upcoming Annual Meeting. I highly, highly recommend this book!

My husband and I run a business and this is one the the best business books I've come across, whether you have a franchise or not. It's an easy, interesting read loaded with useful ideas. The author shares many interesting stories about his own business and from other franchise owners. The chapters on managing employees and unexpected challenges that do occur in all businesses, were especially insightful. Great book if you want practical ideas and a bit of inspiration, as well. A must read for all business owners.

As a franchisor, I got as much from this book as any one of our franchisees will. Straightforward advice from someone who has been there. This is paired with facts, studies, analysis and management theory that delivers a can't miss message. Franchisees of our brand will all be receiving a copy in the mail as a gift from me.

I've been a franchisee for 5 years now and read this book looking to improve by business. Unfortunately, I don't think I got a lot of useful information from it (things that I didn't know already) . Most of it is just common sense. I did like some of the anecdotes though. Overall, it's not bad, but I guess I was expecting more.

Wow this book was amazing! Being a business owner, I'm surprised he targeted franchisees, his advice applies to ALL types of business owners. It was incredible, I couldn't put it down.

Early on, Scott mentioned that there will be game and life changing information for franchisees in this book. From beginning to end were valuable and practical stories, bits of information and advice on things directly related to operating a franchise the most efficient way possible. Most of the content can be applied immediately and pay dividends just as quick, financially and personally. Great read and I recommend it to everyone looking for a wealthier lifestyle as a franchisee or business owner.

As a former franchisee and now franchisor, I'm grateful that this book was put together. It was a great read and I'd recommend it to any franchisee (and franchisor). If a franchisee is going to read one book, this one should be it! It compiles a lot of important concepts from so many books and ties it all together to make it relevant for a franchisee. I had so many highlights from this book to share with our franchisees and staff! Great job!
