TULIP Crochet Hook, Size 10.5/6.50mm

I love this hook I only have this one and the 5.0. I hope they make the larger ones some day. Will buy a set when I can afford it ,they aren't cheap but they are the nicest hooks to use so smooth and light, slides like a hot knife through butter when crocheting. Thank you.

This hooks glides through yarn. It is easy on my hands as well.

Very comfortable to use and easy to see stitches. Handle is grippy but not sticky and hook is perfectly positioned and yarn works off it effortlessly without feeling too slick. I have a whole set of these I can't find and not only did I buy a replacement set but I bought this one because it's a size I use a lot and extras are nice to have. Definitely recommend.

I bought this because my Clover hooks only go up to 6.0mm in the metal, and I felt like the plastic hooks had too much friction with the yarn I wanted to use. Rather than put up with that for a whole blanket, I thought I'd give this Tulip a try. I just knew I was going to hate that little thumb rest bump. After I got used to it, I really didn't mind it at all. (I use a knife grip, and I tend to roll the hook with my thumb and first two fingers.) This hook slides smoothly through my yarn. I actually found the red color to show up better against the yarn as well. I didn't love how the raised wording on the end rubbed my hand, but I was able to file it down with a metal nail file. That's the absolute worst thing I can say about it, and I didn't even notice that until someone else pointed it out. I'm glad I tried it!

Have many sizes of this brand. They fit the hand and glide thru the yarn.

These are deff the best

I love my clover amours and these are right on par if not a tiny bit better. Nice and smooth so no yarn snags. Fit in my hand perfectly (knife grip) and I love that they're a bit more pointy than the lovers to get into those slip stitches. I have a number of sizes of these. I have some blacks too and they are awesome as well. Need to try the pink.

Tulip hooks are right up there in my ‘favourite hooks’ category, along with Clover Amour. Comfortable, stylish, fantastic quality. This new red one is easy to spot, too! A little on the expensive side but quality wise, you get what you pay for. It arrived the morning after I ordered it.Worth noting that you can’t get this size hook (6.5mm) with a metal barrel in Clover Amour. I’m not keen on all plastic.
