The Mighty 8th AF; 5-star wartime adventures.
I am a retired AF B-52 crew member and previous member of the 8th AF during the Cold War. This is a terrific book with detailed descriptions of normal events while flying B-17s/24s and other aircraft from England to the European continent during WWII. Contains many detailed descriptions of air crew members (many famous) and the equipment they used. Has prompted me to travel to The Mighty 8th AF Museum in Savannah, GA. Buy the book if you enjoy aviation/WWII history. It's packed with great info; I can't stop reading it.

Where's the 332nd?
I can't find the 332nd anywhere in this book. Not under bomber escorts, P-51's, or even the shooting down of Germany's ME 262 feared jet plane. And this was notable because Charles Brantley, Earl Lane and Roscoe Brown shot down 3 enemy jets during one escort. That's 3!!!!! Interesting omission.
